    Brexit, for once some facts.

Is this more government misinformation? The grooming gang report has finally been released. It's main finding is that the grooming gangs are mainly white. Type into Bing, google or whatever search engine you use "photos of grooming gangs" to see what comes up, then search for "photos of white...

    Help! Carrera Vengeance e type!!!

That looks about right. Are you still using the original motor connector under thr chain-stay?

Another newbie full of hesitation - advice appreciated.

The rear caliper never touches the motor if you fit a 180mm disc unless you don't assemble it properly. Nine times out of ten, you need an extra 12mm washer on the axle to stop the caliper adapter from touching the disc. For a rear motor, you need a cassette one. Your rear triangle looks quite...

Handlebar controller for Raleigh Velo Cite

Clingfilm or something like that should keep the water out. The LCD3 won't work on its own because you have different wiring.

Those hall sensors are switches. There's a supply voltage of around 5v that's normally the red and black wires. Measure that first. The Halls are switched by the motor's magnets, so when the motor goes round, as each magnet passes a hall, the hall is switched on and off, so you see the same...

The tale of a £100 second hand electric bike.

That was the only downside to my retirement. I missed my commute to work and back, which kept me fit and gave me the chance to experiment with a lot of different types of bikes. Think about your retirement money. A lot of analysts are predicting rapid inflation in the near future, which would...

Those wires are non-standard. Follow the wire out of the motor until you come to a connector.

Sometimes KT controllers have special versions of software in both the controller and the LCD. It might be better to replace everything with a standard ebike setup, i.e. new controller PAS, throttle and LCD. Does your motor have the standard 9-pin connector? What type of pedal sensor do you...

What to plug in first when charging the battery

That was a joke about your motor. OP has an Oxydrive system. His question was specifically about his system and the answer was very important for the well-being of his system. When you bring in irrelevant information about how you charge your bike, which uses a completely different charging...

What to plug in first when charging the battery

Bikes like Kalkhoff and Bosch have handshaking before the electronics allow current to flow through the charge wires, so they're different to Chinese bikes. If your charge socket has two or three pins, switch on the charger before connecting, if it has many pins, follow the manufacturer's...

    Frog ebike battery

Yes, get a rack with a bag and stick the whole lot in the bag. You'll have to do a bit of adaptation to fit the rack to clear the dosc brake. Put a longer bolt in the seat clamp and fix the struts at the front of the rack to it. I wouldn't recommend a cantilever type rack unless you can find one...

    A legal question or two....

Charge rate is limited by the design of the BMS. Unless you check it out, and know what you're doing, don't go over 4 amps. Fast charging can have an affect on battery life. As I've already explained to you, recommended charge rate is 0.2C, which would be 5 hours.

Handlebar controller for Raleigh Velo Cite

A KT LCD3 has a good chance of working. You need to check what type of connector it has, as there are two types, otherwise you can cut the wires and join them...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

No need to mask up. No need to isolate. You can have a good Xmas now. They've found the cause of Covid-19. This Austrian MP tested a glass of cola and it came back positive, so just keep away from cola, and everything will be fine:
