I absolutely agree, there is no doubt that sub £1000 bikes will always sell well, but there is a market albeit smaller for the more highly specified bikes. I think the real mistake would be to try and cover the whole market. All the best David

The problem of course would be the length of the lead needed if you wanted to ride the bike for any meaningful distance!
