yes. It was started by BH, with a 'detuned' BPM, then everyone gets on the bandwagon, pushing up real power forever more. This is mad. I can see a Court case coming soon.

    Woosh Santana CD gearchange quality

dave, what's the point of paying extra for a crank drive to ride flat roads? The cost of the NuVinci is only justified if you buy a premium bike. The Santana CD is about the cheapest bike you can buy, spend £300 on a £800 bike for the gearbox? not me. On flat roads, torque sensor is nicest...

My first conversion project - Carrera Subway 2

you get 50 x 2600mAH = 13AH. The battery will weigh about 3.4kgs The cells can do 2C, so maximum continuous current will be 26A. That should be enough for 350W BBS01 but a bit weedy for 500W - most people would go for 15AH or 20AH batteries with 500W BBS02. The alternative is woosh 15AH battery...

some of the tricks that I have tried changing gears on hills with Woosh CD bikes: 1. before changing gears, stop pedalling and keep the throttle to maximum - the Woosh will happily oblige. 2. stop throttling, wait for the motor's noise to die down, change gear 3. rev up again, the motor will...

true enough, but none of these skills are difficult to learn - trueing and dishing: that depends on where you get your kit from. Breaking spokes: also depends on where you get your kit from. Weight distribution: depends on the battery. Take for example the Woosh CST kit, the wheel is trued by...

nah. Rear wheel is easier to fit than front wheel, you only need to spend £10 on the tool you'll need to whip the freewheel or cassette out. Then it's no different than fitting a front wheel. I just don't understand why people bother with front wheel conversions. In 99% of cases, the fork on...

    Suitable Forks Recommendation Please

you need good experience to fit a front BPM motor to magnesium lowers. The motor will break the jaws in seconds on startup without torque arms.

    Controller Query

the bike will cut out when the battery cuts out. Your battery can for a short period supply twice as much as its rated countinuous current, but it will overheat and its thermistor will shut the battery down within a couple of minutes.

    Woosh Customer Service

I called Hatti at home and talked about this issue. Woosh only have a small team, two Andies, one does email support, the other does PDIs, Simon also does PDIs, Kevin packs, keeps the place clean and moves boxes. Hatti does everything else and she hates computers. When Andy (Hatti's right hand...

small team, trying to do too much, Hatti especially. something like this is an accident waiting to happen. I am sure that in cases like tubermanandy, they will have already put in procedures to stop enquiry emails being put into the junk box by mistake. dmsims case is a bit more concerning. If...
