For my beekeeping I have re-utilised my old Oxydrive batteries which used the very mediocre Sam 22 & 26F cells. As 12v smaller packs now they power a diy bee vac for collecting swarms from awkward places and power some vaping pans to treat the bees with in the fight against the parasitic varroa...
What do you do with yours ?
Recycle them at the tip, use the cells for torch's or re- purpose them for other uses?
In the past I have deconstructed them to make up smaller 12v packs for other uses.
My latest use is to leave my 7 year old 14.5ah Dolphin case batteries as they are and have...
You will have to cut open the shrink then, could also just be a loose or bad charge wire connection. New shrink wrap isn't dear to buy.
Neal's tip:
For checking charge voltage on a female DC type jack with centre v+ pin, simply use a DC Male pin (with screw terminals) to push in and measure...
Does sound like a TS fault of calibration when pressure is applied.
No it won't pop the capacitor though you will get a crack from shorting the wires as the voltage drains, you are not shorting out by adding voltage incorrectly.
Yes, Shimano Hollowtech. The Hollowtech BB is the most common use on many bikes whether they use Tigra, Sora, Deore or whatever Shimano package.
In the past I have used pump pliers and a rag.
The lcd3 or any other KT lcd doesn't have the capability to change/reverse the direction. The only way is to try reversing the disc face of direction or inverting the sensor.
Before fitting any PAS set up it is best to just plug it in and manually pass the magnet disc by the sensor to see if it...
E road bikes don't come up much here as most aren't road bike orientated, it may be better asking the guys on cyclinguk forum. The Orbea Gains seem to have good feedback and use lighter hub motors but mostly it is the battery capacity that may be the weak point.
The colour of the jack plug has nothing to do with voltage, it is just a colour used in manufacturing. As long as the jack plug fits snuggly them it is fine.
Your meter may be wrong as well, 3 voltage readings and all different.
The green light might not be on because of balancing a large 16ah...
You can simply test your self, use a pair of needles poked in the holes of the female connector and probe the needles with a meter. You only need to probe 5v & Gnd to confirm 5v and the sequence is correct, the other will be the Sig wire,
The Yellow connector is a Julet or it should say so (raised embossing name on the connector), if so any 3 wire throttle will work. The pin outs are standard layout unless the oem party has for some reason gone a bit weird and ordered custom ones with different pin out sequence.
To confirm pin...
