Nano Brompton - Bosch battery not charging. What to do?

It's out of balance, probably because one of the cells is knackered. You have to open it up, measure each cell pair, then charge the low one on it's own with a single cell charger or something similar. You get get 7Ah if you replace the cells with the latest types.

I don't think that'll do it. It's only a Duracell Plus. he needs the Ultra:

    Viking MT Tobin controller problem

Yes. Another potential problem you might have is the motor connection sequence, which is difficult to test without a throttle, but here's how you can do it. On the throttle connector, try touching the red to the signal wire, which is the equivalent of a full throttle signal. The wheel should...

    Cyclamatic, but which one?

It's a Cyclamatic Foldaway. It looks like it's had a replacement throttle. The original had a red switch to switch it on and off, plus it had battery indicator lights. The motor can take 48v OK as long as you're careful not to go too slow. 48v gets double the speed it can do now. 36v is the...

    Using LSW70A6G without the display

The green cable gives 1v for level 1, 2v for level 2, 3v for level 3 and 4v for 4mph walk assist. Every one that I tried without the control panel defaulted to level 1 pedal assist with the red and blue wires shorted, and the throttle worked normally. The first thing to check is that you have...

    Resistance or drag when coasting

The faster a motor goes, the better it is for it. Slow speed at full power is what kills motors and controllers.

I hope you have a sense of humour. Your bike should be dead easy to convert unless it's a small frame. You haven't given us much to go on. How quick do you want and how far do you want to go? What's your all-up weight when travelling and how hilly is it?

    Viking MT Tobin controller problem

When you buy from Chinese re-sellers, their stock is often surplus parts that are left over after a production run of OEM bikes, so they're set-up specifically for those bikes. Every time someone buys one, they seem to be setup differently. With the LCD, you can reset it any way you want...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Cameron and May are part of the same globalist club as Blair and Brown. Changing from one to the next makes no difference. Boris is also in the same club, but he now has to think about keeping some of the promises he made to get voted in. The police, judiciary, film industry, gaming industry...

    KZQ-36VL Controller

That's an optical cadence sensor, like I suspected. It runs of 12v. Normal PASs use hall sensors and are 5V. You need a new controller to use a standard magnet disc PAS. If you connected the 12v to your KT-V6, you will most likely have killed it.

    Viking MT Tobin controller problem

If you want to buy anything, get an LCD. If your PAS is switched off in the settings, an LCD is the only thing that will help you. There is probably some way into the settings using your 900S. Look at this manual and see if the method works on yours...
