    Hi from Mid Wales.

Used bikes come with a caveat which mainly is the battery age, don't simply trust what a seller tells you. If a battery fails or doesn't perform well then one needs to buy a new one so the price really needs to reflect that. Otherwise buy two new kits and retro fit to existing bikes, Woosh is...

Help! Screen goes on but nothing happens when pulling trigger throttle

The melted fuse is obvious to much heat occurred as vfr has mentioned a mosfet in the controller may have blown. You can test the controller mosfets via the phase wires using a meter. No battery power is needed, set meter to 20k or 200k setting. With a meter Black probe to Black controller gnd...

For kits one sometimes has to think about choosing the ekit for the bike, for my adventure bike I wanted to keep weight no more then 15kg total. So the Revos was ideal and meant and easy and manageable bike for trails and offroad and lightness to lift over fences or gates etc, Power is instant...

I have to say that I bought one of the first Mk1 production runs of the Revos some 2 years ago at a reduced price with the larger battery on a Kick starter and was one of the first few pledges. Very pleased with mine though the usual caveat of tyre wear is/can be an issue. I use soft compound...

    sw900 help

Displays and controllers are best bought as a pair unless it is a a generic KT model. Some displays are used with different third party controllers and the likely out come is just a lack of compatibility via software/programming.

If you want a project one can try and replace the motor cable but does mean opening the hub and some careful work, alternatively Woosh may do the work for you. Other wise opt for AKM100c or 128c as a replacement lighter and powerful small hubs.

    Which conversion kit?

Whether one can change the speed matters not, as long as at the time when one is at all challenged and the bike is set to the legal speed then it is in compliance of the law and being used within the law.

One good option may be something like the Revos friction drive kit to very quickly convert most of any bikes in about 15 minutes, adding only about 4.5 - 5.5lbs to the bike weight. Range is is 12 - 25 miles depending on the Wh battery purchased, I'm finding the kit very good to use and ample power.

With any bike from Wisper or Woosh one needs to pre- order/book one so as to be in line to receive one in the build programme as things stand. If I was keen on one I would pre order and whilst biding my time think about buying a cheaper alternative just to get going.

The temp reading isn't for the hub, it is just ambient air temp. The hub has no heat sensor inside.

If PAS doesn't trigger 03 then the fault might be the throttle hall. It can be tested, if you have block connectors then testing is much easier. Stuff your probes up the back of the throttle /controller connection. 5v should read between 5V & Gnd. 1v or so between Gnd & Sig & 4v - 5v when...

    MiB - Commuter

If the Downs are only 5 -10 miles away check local maps for quite lanes or cycle routes to them and think about cycling their as part of the ride, on a nice day make a whole day of it. I do this and sometimes I ride North/West first before riding to the Downs and can be some 35 miles from...

Help! Replacement 36v battery for a Giant Suede

Keep it all rolling on the same thread. A lot of the sub £200 batteries will use either poor mediocre brand cells or no name China cells, what you will have to keep a watch out for is any additional import, vat & handling fees if buying from outside UK. Mostly cheap batteries will be ebay...

You have already mentioned Yose but for less then £200 options are pretty small. Woosh are very reputable but likely more then you wish to part with.

Manufacturer warranty 6 months doesn't fill one with optimism. Yes if thinking of changing battery type altogether at least use a more reputable outlet.

Help! Replacement 36v battery for a Giant Suede

The aerdu is a battery reseller or possibly one who make up batteries. The ones I see on Ali are cheap even using the claimed crappy LG MG1 cells, £73 for 40 cells, bms etc,etc also the GA celled one at £96 for 40 cells is way to cheap. GA cells are usually well over £5 each and MG1 are £2.50...
