Woosh Newbie saying hi, looking at a Woosh Camino

Bikes like Woosh that use generic China electrics are easier to repair, the other two you mentioned are closed electric systems which means no one but the brand/ dealer can repair them should a major fault occur in most cases. Once warranty runs out on the latter then for some they are a very...

    Easy Motion Neo Cross

When I saw the thread on Thursday but with no pics as per normal, the first thing that struck me was the bike probably uses CANbus or some kind of handshaking esp the battery to controller and maybe the display. The re-cell has buggered this up and bricked something likely the controller to...

For Sale Free to good home - Kudos Tornado electric bike. Needs battery

A good nice honest add, it leaves the buyer in no doubt that it requires some money to be spent. Depending on the offer someone makes/buys it for should get a nice runabout bike.

    Where are the Batteries UK

For 18650 If high current is needed then opt for cells typically 2500 - 3000mah , if range is what you are after then current draw tends to be lower for efficiency so opt for the higher rated 3400/3500mah cells. Larger size 20700/21700 cells are available now so there is increasing choice with...

    Help! Replacement electronic controller required

Your current motor connection lead to the controller, one can open the controller and de - solder or cut the wiring from inside so it you won't be left short when permanently soldering the wires to the new controller if use go down that route instead of using connectors. The phase wires at the...

I doubt if I have visited one now for 20 years and tbh will never use one again, horrible junk food and they have an audacity to call them restaurants.

    Help! Replacement electronic controller required

All looks good, selecting form the drop down boxes makes life much easier. The speed sensor is pretty much std, a spoke magnet passing by the hall sensor fixed to the rear stay.

Sounds like originally the old battery voltage was collapsing so an aging factor of worn cells, no use speculating about this that or t'other until the new battery is seen to cure the issue. If all works well then one can simply carry out a simple controller shunt mod to get a few more amps.

    Cyclematic powerplus

C1/2 should do the trick, before you fit it plug it in and wave the disc past the sensor to make sure the hub turns the right way. Other wise you have to take the crank off again to flip the magnet disc. But as vfr has mentioned the phase /hall combos don't always work colour to colour but...

One suspects the range claim is true as a likely very fit young man or woman has test ridden the bike in flat benign conditions and achieved the claimed mileage, so they aren't telling porkies. Just that your average rider may never get that close. For someone who only rides errands or...

Unfortunately I need e- assistance as my asthma is partly induced by exertion , I tried a slightly less 120km route on a drop bar push bike about 18 - 24 months and I was struggling some what, so the last time I shall be riding without assistance. With the low PAS I am quite comfortable...

    Help! Replacement electronic controller required

o_O Julet don't make them like that any more :D. You can keep the controller to motor cabe/connector and once you know the motor is running correctly solder the wires direct at the controller end rather then use more connectors. As vfr has mentioned buy a speed sensor with spoke magnet and we...

You can't simply ridicule smaller battery capacities on your own usage, other riders have different fitness levels so can get away with low PAS use and extended range. An average fit rider should be able to get 10-12 wh per mile out of a battery with good input, anotherkiwi who no longer par...

The range using max assist will be low but for a reasonably fit person with no major health issues 7ah will be fine for 25 miles on low assist. I'm at the opposite scale of fitness to you then as I can ride around on PAS 1 at 18mph and only use higher PAS for hills. For my longer rides I use...

If the julet 9 pin ext cable doesn't come with a connector for the controller (it should do) you will need a dj7061a-2.8-11 6 6 wire block connector.
