Anybody got experience of "Juicy" e bikes?

Once at or above 15.5mph most ebikes should cut out as this is the max assist speed allowed though some bikes one can adjust this to any speed, my bikes I adjust to 16.7mph for a bit more and can nicely cycle above this speed after cut out. Some systems have a delay in assist cutting in again so...

    Build my first ebike

A geared hub will supply up to 1kw of temporary power with out to much problem ( dependant on controller current), even 15 -17a will give you 500w of power which is plenty for every one on relative flat commute. Georgehenry might chip in if he reads this thread, he does late shift work and often...

Britain's First 'Dutch-Style' Roundabout Closed 10 Days After Opening When Car Ploughed Into Beacon

There is a feel of a change of wind in the air regarding environmental issues and the planet, but is is enough ? Drivers and people in general need to seriously act on it once covid is over, could be another year or 18 months yet. Issue is people have short minds and all the good will, will at...

    Clunking noise

The steerer/head set needs removal and inspection of the bearings, probably need replacing. If the bearings are loose then should be an easy job, bearings can wear go out of shape.

Britain's First 'Dutch-Style' Roundabout Closed 10 Days After Opening When Car Ploughed Into Beacon

Problem now a days are that drivers are going to fast and not taking enough care, I see this at roundabouts and junctions most days. Give way signs or stops signs often get scant attention.

    Programming Lead Com Port Problem

For simple ebiking one needs to buy an already made bike from a vendor/dealer, kit bikes are for those who don't mind getting the spanners out.

    Clunking noise

Clunking may be from the fork suspension if not the head set/steerer, there is little else on the front to clonk.

    BATTERY WRAP

And have you capacity tested to see if you get 672wh from the £47 soft pack ? At only 3 cells paralleled 14ah is wishful thinking, if you had a watt meter inline you could tell us what the actual wh is for a complete discharge. £47 doesn't even buy a dozen decent 10a cells, let alone 39 for...

    BATTERY WRAP

For shrink wrap one has to add up the two dimensions to get a flat shrink size then once this is come buy add up to 50% to that figure to allow shrink. Battery pack that say measures 110mm x 95mm will be 205mm when added together, so one would need to buy shrink wrap of a minimum 205mm size...

    Battery replacement

We have seen a trend for some bikes where weight is a feature and one sees it a bit on here with buyers wanting advice on lightweight bikes, part of any weight reduction will be for lighter drive units (but this means likely more failures due to rider weight use), but also the the battery is an...

    Battery replacement

Prices will be held artificially high as the so called 'niche' makers bring in more integrated and frame batteries, when ever has seen commodities get cheaper esp bikes. Motoring certainly became more affordable however I just don't see the swap over to mass biking on a regular basis in the UK...

    Clunking noise

You don't need to push down on the front sus to rock the bike with the brakes held, all you are looking for is any head set play as the bike is gently rocked forth and back with no downward pressure.

    Goverment Grant.

Carrot and stick isn't it flecc, one doesn't get something for nothing the consumer pays not only direct via their pocket but also indirect via taxes. With the covid crisis we will all be paying for years to come and the next generation will also be when our time is over. Someone has to pay for...
