    Revos vs Woosh system

The REVOS works quite well I have one on my fair weather lightweight gravel/tourer with drops. Very easy and an unfussy fit, only two wire connectors on mine, one for controller to motor and one for rear led cassette sensor that lets one switch the drive off with half back peddle. The original...

    Chain skipping in high gears

Yes also sometimes one at the derailleur cable entry. Is there any slack/play with the inner cable ? If unsure then if one is able to take/ride to Halfrauds, do so.

    Chain skipping in high gears

The derailleur has three adjustment screws the main two are the two small L & H ones marked on the derailleur. The H adjuster stops the chain from smashing/grinding in to the inside of the frame, if it is skipping between two sprockets (8 & 9) then it might be the cause. Also check the cable...

    Chain skipping in high gears

Sounds like the H stop screw needs adjusting or possibly some cable adjustment if there is slack. First though make sure there is nothing wedged between the two sprockets that might prevent gear change. You can ride the bike to them if nearby just use the other gears up to 7 or 8.

Battery building for a conversion project

Unless you want a specific cell or shape then one will likely be better off buying a battery or going to Jimmy at ebikebatteries .co.uk to build one. If one has a few spare quid to burn then as an experiment one learns better how a multi cell battery works and how it is connected. First of all...

Yes the fact he used it sealed the fact that he did see her, his time may have been better spent braking or trying to avoid her rather then using the horn.

E-bike accessories and clothing and running costs (extreme shopping frenzy)

The bloke didn't loose his house or did it cost him 100k. The final outcome was he did get legal help and counter sued, the ending was both were found liable 50/50. The claim amount was reduced and the guy had to fork out about 3.5k from his own pocket to cover liability, the rest of the money...

Conversion for a Dahon Glide (24" wheel, narrowhub).

Yes, BB face to BBS outer shell face. Your issue is you have know where near that, the seat tube and the strengthening plate the extends down in front of the BB makes it impossible for the BBS to slide on.

Help! Wrong size battery? What should I do?

12awg is 45a capable and a bit more for the short wire length from the battery.

    Help! Can I solder 12awg too a 8awg or 10awg wire?

If you wish yes you can solder the wires direct, don't forget to slide on some heat shrink out of the way first. I use two pieces of shrink per each joint, the second piece slightly longer then the first.

    Finding a replacement BMS

A display or controller won't turn off the BMS, it will remain live unless it has a switch. This one has the switch/wires...

    Bafang BBS01B Bullet Connectors Size?

The reason the crap insulation melts is because of poor or thin metal used in the bullets they simply can't handle heat. Good connectors use copper.

Sorry for a newbie question. Turn off thumb throttle.

You will have to remove them to disable with LCD1. If you buy an lcd3 then you can use it to change all of the controllers parameter and set it to C4/1 = 6km/h walk assist. Simply unplug the LCD1 connect LCD3 make the changes switch off and reconnect LCD1.
