    Air Conditioning

Had been thinking of it here - but actually the temperatures have generally been lower than much of the rest of the UK. And the sea can provide a nice relief not too far down the road.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

It is getting to feel as if every future government, to the end of time, will be able to look back and say: "We are far better than the brexit shower."

    Air Conditioning

Air conditioning by portable unit is pretty horrible, I'm afraid. Noisy. Inefficient. Bulky. I'd very much rather have a proper split unit built in - with the option of using it as a heat pump. Plus, obviously, solar panels and battery storage. Ideally, the sunnier it is, the more electricity...

    Is Green Aviation Really Coming?

With, possibly, an increase in capacity of the Irish link if the Freshwater West to Ireland (not sure where) cable does get laid.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There is the occasional bit of good news... Over $118bn wiped off Facebook's market cap after growth shock Shares crash as platform admits user growth fell after Cambridge Analytica breach Wow! That would be about enough to pay two brexit bills (direct to EU payments, not the unfathomably...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

From what I can see, Wales will lose in most directions. Probably see ferry traffic reduced. Agriculture and fishery products, much of which goes to the EU, much reduced. Goodness knows for industrial production such as what is left of Port Talbot. I suspect Aston Martin didn't actually expect...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Trouble is, we are WAAAAAY beyond it being in name only. Specific example: We have lost the European Medicines Agency to Amsterdam. I rather suspect that our influence within the EU has been massively diminished since the referendum.

    Front fork air pressure?

Just made that exact same increase to mine (can't remember what make they are). Was finding sometimes they felt as if they were compressing a bit too much. Had been thinking about posting a very similar question!

What would FS would you get for £3200

Certainly was. Someone on here posted the details originally. Whilst I really, really cannot possibly justify an FS, I do find it so very comfortable. Getting on a bit so I really don't feel the need to suffer bumps. Sure, suspension seat post might have been enough, but... Even in my...

What would FS would you get for £3200

My Giant Full+2 (2017 model) was under £2000. Just. Full price was of the order of £3500. I waited because I couldn't make up my mind - and the price dropped handsomely. These people said they had bought up Giant's entire remaining UK stock just before Christmas 2017...

And it still sounds as if Dublin is far ahead of the UK.

We, (the Conservative Party), are more than able to ruin it all entirely by ourselves.

    Sensible Vehicles

Thanks. Had been reading recently that Nissan's reliability overall is pretty poor. With some models like Leaf doing well, some others obviously have to be seriously poor.
