Help! Voilamart 26” front hub looking for repair

This is one of the best parts of the forum, where like minds try and help each other to overcome bike issues. What sometimes make sit tricky is the distant advice and sometimes interpreting what has occurred present or past in attempted repairs. Some issues are easy to repair whilst others are...

Lishui Controller - Can I add a throttle?

All one can hope for is the throttle software is still enabled and they have simply removed the wiring for the market intended for the dealer/vendor. It is probably simpler to programmes all the software as std on the prod line and then just not add the wiring for certain batches.

Hello - newbie looking for opinions!

For a touring /day out rider then 100 miles range isn't improbable though you need to be a dedicated rider or have a comfy bike set up to do this. I go out for day rides and just over 100 miles is about my longest trip. A 36v down tube 14.5ah reserve/ get me home battery and the main battery a...

A lot on my wish list!

I don't think that would bother SW though. Tyre wise for a folder fit the widest one can find that will fit the drop outs, for punctures use Marathon tyres as they are more resistant.

Bigstone E200 LED display loses power

So the cut out is set higher then 16 mph either the cut out speed isn't set or the P1 is out, for P1 set it lower till you find the motor cut out of 25kmh.

    Hub Motor Clunked and died?

When will tinkerers ever learn ??? When playing with ebike electrics don't use anything metal to prod around with, use either plastic tools, wooden lolly sticks or bamboo skewers.

New build and having an issue

The Chinese use both Black & Yellow for Gnd, when both are used for wire colour then Yellow is the signal. Likewise Red & Brown are used for 5v. In your case follow the wiring order vfr has stated, the Yellow & Green are signal wires. Non KT Pas wiring will be and can be in any order so before...

Hello - newbie looking for opinions!

36v 30ah battery is 1080 wh for a rider who can manage 10wh per mile or even less then about 100 miles is possible, an unfit plodder who uses higher assist level it will be at least half the range. One simply can't put an actual range figure down on paper as there are to many variables involved...

Bigstone E200 LED display loses power

The PAS /watts output you see if correct, PAS 5 100%, PAS 4 50%, PAS 3 33%, PAS2 20% & PAS 1 13%. The levels are set hard in the firmware so no adjustment is possible, I expect if one looks on ES there will be a thread regarding open source programming of the controller. The only way you will...

Which one I should go for?

Marwood Hill had the Bigbear for towing and he eventually fitted a rear hub too as the traction for towing wasn't great. He made a lot of mods to his set up.

Which one I should go for?

Both bikes will be good for the money, and both will support you with spares should you have an issue. The Woosh has a BPM front hub which is very pokey but not to every ones liking, it may suffer wheel slip and the steering ride feel can be a bit quirky but you get used to it. The Wisper has a...

    Help! Rear wheel recomendations please

Why buy a new wheel when a spoke is relatively easy to replace ? Just needs a bit of patience.

Lishui Controller - Can I add a throttle?

A generic thumb throttle has three wires red/ 5v and Black/ Gnd simply solder to their respective positions on the pcb or any spare 5v & Gnd that shows continuity, the third colour wire is the signal. Some may use the marking TH or TS for the wire but needs confirming first. I have an unused...

Hall sensor configuration possibly causing C3 error?

Another great result thus far, let us know how the rides go. As vfr has mentioned the difference will be minute so test all three on the road and go with what feels best.
