    Sore wrist help.

Those sweeps Swizz look good and have a very good rise on them as well, maybe something for the Op to look at. I can't fault using sweeps and have them on all my bikes now.

    Sore wrist help.

Tbh the Op should have really bought used or new forks with a longer steerer so it can then have been cut down to suit rather then having to get around the issue other wise.

    Sore wrist help.

Stem riser adapter no, though one can replace a normal stem with a riser stem that has a set angled raise, other wise opt for the riser handlebars or a swept bar for better comfort. Typically 40 -45 degree sweep it the ultimate for comfort and natural wrist position.

    KT-LCD1

Ok interesting was it a Cyclotricity replacement or a generic one ? We know from other users a generic KT lcd only enables the 250w rating as none have P6 mode. P6 is a special order custom mode for oem sellers. It may be that cyclotricity have also a custom PAS sensor with software which only...

    Battery charge cycles

Life cycle use will show up as a decrease in range as the battery ages. From new and after some use most will know the total range they can get out of a battery from 4.2v down to lvc of about 3.2v/3.3v. As this range decreases with use one can make a few easy calc's to see to what effect...

    Battery charge cycles

In general the cycle charging is only theoretical unless one is OCD and note down every charge cycle etc etc & even mileage. To get the deemed 700 cycles or so most users would need to see probably more then ten years use or a regular user 5 - 6 years of daily use clocking up the miles. I don't...

    House insurance and ebikes

No not in the end. The cyclist with advice counter sued the women, the court findings was that both were 50% liable but he still had a hefty bill to find. A fund raising page was set up by other concerned individuals I believe and it covered all his costs barring about 3k - 4k. I think he left...

The BB is a torque sensor unit so it is wired and sends electronic signals to the controller so that is the reason for the diagnostic test. Although mechanical they are also electronic.

Not as far as we know, a forum user over a year ago used the money back offer and got his money refunded. Following several months of use he decided the bike wasn't for him and returned it. Here is the thread link...

I can't comment on their bikes weight loading but still would say their 365 day no quibble money back guarantee is great selling point.

    KT-LCD1

I just checked and as I thought you have the wrong magnet disc and the controller isn't set for a 12 pole one so it doesn't recognise it because it has too many magnet poles. Cyclotricity PAS sensor is 10 pole and your one is 12 pole and not from them. With my KT LCD1 & 2 lcds, I have to flash...

    KT-LCD1

I forgot the KT LCD1 & 2 don't have the C1 settings, they have to be flashed via an lcd3 or better. The led blinking means it is sensing the disc but for what ever reason isn't working. Did your last disc also have the twelve magnets ? Did you try the back pedal ?

Torque v cadence - which has more efficient battery usage (my wife's battery ran out, mine did not...)?

One can't really just compare TS drive to cadence drive and say A will have better range then B, because if B uses current control the range will be as much as 50% + or more then a cadence sensor bike that uses a speed controller.

    Gboost reviews

As you are interested in a friction drive kit have you looked at the Revos friction drive ? The company is based in Bristol and all the design/work is done in house. The original start up drive was unsensored but the latest is now a sensored drive, in all it takes about 20 - 30 mins to install...

    Pendleton Somerby Battery Problems

The battery pack it self as it stands is U/S so there is nothing lost in removing the inner pack to take a few readings, if it is found to be past recovery then a re - cell is on the cards however if it is recoverable and remains so then for at least now you will have saved spending £200 - £300...

    KT-LCD1

If it is the same it should work unless you have change the C1 setting. Make sure the disc face is correct and not back to front, peddle backwards to see if it works. Easiest way to test is to plug in the Julet before fitting then pas the disc by the sensor head, the sensor has a small Red led...

    KT-LCD1

The pas sensor and disc need to be about 1mm apart. Tell us which PAS you had before and which you have now or better still some pics. Generic KT lcds don't have a P6 parameter, the Cyclotricity parameter is custom setting and believe it is linked to the derestriction mode between 250 & 1000w.

What determines and assists hill climbing capacity?

Quite often crappy speed control systems tend to be on cheap bikes that only use a low, medium and high display settings or simply 1,2 or 3. Sometimes you have to scour the specs to see if there is any indication .
