    Battery decision

DAS Kit is the same guy as who supplied the electrics for the previous Oxygen MTB and the last Oxydrive kits. They have a German brand with the same bikes called Leisger. He then came up with a new design, which he called Foo bikes. The bike in your link is identical to the setpthrough Foo Bike...

    BBS01

Correct Incorrect. No controller in the world can get any current through that motor when the crank is spinning at 100 RPM. According to this, you should be able to get good power up to about 70 rpm, after which it ramps down rapidly. Source...

Help - Bionx system continuesly beeping

Have you been using it in the rain. If yes, it probably has water in it somewhere. Is it giving any error codes?

    Pulled by police on ebike

How did they know it was an electric bike? It only goes when you pedal and it looks like a normal bike from both the front and the back, and even if they saw it from the side, an untrained person probably still wouldn't recognise it as electric. I don't ride very fast, I'm always looking to see...

    Want a tidy mounting solution

Just to make it clear, It's not mine. It belongs to Lovelock on ES. He lives in UK, so might be a member here too.

    BBS01

Don't forget that there are two things that regulate the maximum current to the motor. The controller can only regulate it at low pedal speed. After that, your pedal speed regulates it. The faster you pedal, the less current you get. No settings can change that, except make it worse.

Can you tell us why you're buying new controllers? Is there some background to it? Which motor do you have? Is it with or without hall sensors? If with hall sensors, did you test them?

You just need to adjust it properly. I doubt that you need a new cable.

KT error 6 under high current

There are a lot of things that can cause the current to go too high, most likely is a bad connection. check that the motor plug is in far enough, then check all the motor connections at the controller. Do not try and run the motor with full power when it shows any symptoms of rough running or...

Here is my experience with BMS Battery

That thread started 8 years ago when most Chinese websites were like that. If you read through and do your research, you'll see that they're pretty reliable now, though you can expect delivery in 2 to 4 weeks from placing your order, depending on what you order. Many guys on this forum have used...

    Giant Twist Lite error codes

I've got a feeling that the Giants with hub-motors have a temperature sensor in the motor. it would only get too hot if you went too slow with high load.

    How Light do you ride.

For a 20 mile ride on an electric bike on roads, I wouldn't carry anything. Marathon Plus tyres means no punctures, so no need for a puncture kit or pump unless you only carry those things to rescue other people who don't know about Marathon Plus tyres. 20 miles takes about 90 minutes, which...

    What's happened to Powacycle?

Just an idea. You could upgrade at least the forks to disc forks. It's not clear what size steerer tube you have to show you exactly which ones.
