    Freego Folder Battery stuck

You need to lever it up from the bottom. From memory, you can get a screwdriver under the bottom back edge to lever it up.

    Battery upgrade

Some batteries are dumb, some are dumb, but switched on remotely by electronics, others use communication protocols before they give power. You need to determine which type you have. The wires on the connector give an indication.

    Battery upgrade

Don't even think about a replacement battery until you've checked the wires on that connector.

    Battery upgrade

You need to look inside the controller's compartment at the front of the battery to see how many of the pins are connected. If it's only 2 or 2 pairs that each go 2 in 1 before they get to the controller, you can fit any battery you want, but if there are two thick wires and some thin ones, it...

    Giant Ebikes

Eskuta meets the requirements you listed. They can be adjusted to go quite fast, and if you add the optional throttle, you don't even need to pedal. Without the throttle and speed adjustment, it would do 15.5 mph, the same as the bikes you listed, but with much less pedal effort. You only need...

Blast! You've just destroyed my thesis and 6 years of research. I'll have to start again now. I'm thinking about checking whether wearing your underpants outside your trousers extends battery life. I tried it for a day and my battery didn’t expire or show any signs of deterioration, so I'm...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Remove the brake caliper then see how free it is. Also check carefully that the tyre isn't rubbing. Check that the disc isn't rubbing on the chainstay or the caliper adapter. After that, look at hw you installed the washers to make sure that they aren't touching anything they shouldn't.

Did you eat evey day in those 4 years because I ate every day in the last 6 years since I bought my battery, which is also still working well. If you did eat on all those days, that supports the theory that the eating is what prolongs the battery life, since everyone that achieved long battery...

    Usb. Charger adaptor

You can see how it works. There are 5 wires in the LCD cable. All go straight through from connector to connector, but it splices in to the red and black if permanently on or blue/pink/orange switched wire and the black to be on only when the LCD is on. You could swap connectors to make it...

4.15v isn't enough. It has yo be 4.2v. Balancing doesn’t happen in an instant. It takes some time and only happens above 4.15v. For the same reason, it's a very bad idea to do a balancing charge every fifth charge or whatever. It needs to be done every charge to keep your battery healthy. You...

Where to buy smart charger Luna Charger 52V from

Yes, it's CC, CV, just like any charger, i.e. it gives the current you set until it gets close to the voltage, then it ramps the current down and will aim to keep the set voltage constant after that.

Where to buy smart charger Luna Charger 52V from

There's a dial to set the voltage and an LED display to show what you've set it to. It's the same for the current. You'd hsve to have a few braincells missing to get it wrong. You can use it to charge anything.

Get yourself a 60v 5A lab power supply. They're cheaper and most likely have the same components/module in them. Gophert make a nice one that's practically the same.

I understand your dispair. As I said before, people are reading what's on Battery University, which is about single cells and management system design and then trying to apply it to their batteries without changing anything. They then post on forums what they read, but they miss out salient...

    Chargers and battery technology

You can use any standard 36v lithium battery charger that has a charge current around 2A and a charging voltage of 42v. The only thing to watch out for is that the polarity on the connector is the right way round. It would be very unusual to have a reversed charger connector these days, and I've...

That's the million dollar question. The advice I would give if you haven't opened up your battery and know which sort of management system it has and how it works, is as follows. 1. Use the charger supplied with the bike and always charge it to full. 2. Don't leave the charger on for hours...

    Throttles allowed?

According to the story, the order was for a very substantial number of new bikes and the permission was given by an official government department, and they kept their exemption as pedelecs.

What happens in a Tesla car has very little relevance to a typical electric bike because they have completely different management systems and operating characteristics. This is thec big problem, that people take things from one context and apply them to a different one and expect them to work...

That's right, but we only see manufacturers tests on individual cells and under specific conditions. I've never seen any life cycle tests done on compete batteries, where there are a large number of extra failure modes, and operating conditions are cosiderably more variable.
