Hold on. That's a 170 rpm motor. What size wheels do you have? 170 rpm won't go any faster than 15 mph in a 26" wheel. Next time the battery is nearly empty, lift the wheel off the ground and check how fast it goes in the air. If it does around 15mph, then you have a chance with derestriction...
