Help! Help request: There is no power to motor

No because then you are taking a complete stab in the dark and trying to guess what might be wrong, ebikes diagnosis is about ruling out the usual suspects first. Sometimes the issue ends up being a broken wire some where in the system or a bad wire connection, that's why you need to try and...

Help! Help request: There is no power to motor

The PAS blinking is a good sign and means it is working fine. So my suspicions are a fault within the controller and likely a mosfet issue. Yes the controller is in there where the cables go in to it, the controller is an ali box with a pcb board inside. Going back to #11 and pic #3, you can...

Help! Help request: There is no power to motor

The controller isn't actually inside the battery case, with the battery removed it is in the space at the front of the battery carrier on the bike rack. Once you get the battery screwed back together and back on the bike , try the PAS and tell us if the led blinks on/off when the bike is...

???? does your bike have or utilise a PAS sensor/disc ?

    Kt controller problem.

That's because you connected the throttle to the wrong wire connector.

    Kt controller problem.

I can't really understand what you are trying to achieve without a motor/hub connected, the controller won't work unless you connect a motor/hub to allow it to do it's job ? If you are trying to see if he controller works then you need to connect a hub motor to the phase wires, connect the...

Kirstin & Pete the guy hasn't even got a hub connected no wonder he can't see that it works.

Help! Help request: There is no power to motor

The first one is simply the led display it is not a controller (the brains of the bike), trace the wiring to it connector to the main controller. The second one is the PAS sensor, with the battery on and when you rotate the cranks does that small Red led blink on and off as the magnets pass...

    Speed limiting

Which bike do you have and which motor does it use. A PAS controller with display and 5 levels of assist power is easy to find, just buy a good one like KT make and not th cheaper ones like Brainpower. The LCD display allows you to set the max assisted speed, but it is stupid to say you are not...

    Speed limiting

25km/h EU regulations is that motor power must stop assisting at 25km/h, you can ride above 25km/h but it has to be human leg power only. Going down hill faster is fine and legal unless you have stupid laws in Finland.

    Kt controller problem.

No, though you can resistance test the controller phase wires.

Help! Help request: There is no power to motor

To rule out the led show us the wire connector and wire colours, the wiring can be shorted/ linked together to see if the motor runs or not, other wise you need to locate the controller to test it.

    Kt controller problem.

In #3 your pic doesn't show a hub connected, you need to connect the three phase wires to a hub motor.

Help! Help request: There is no power to motor

The controller is located in front of the battery so you need to access it to check the wire connections and to carry out controller resistance testing of the three phases. Electrical issues can be a pain to trace. Has anything no matter how minor occured between the last time the bike worked...

Help! Help request: There is no power to motor

29.3or 4 is spot on for 24v, so no problem. Fuse is intact. Has the bike been left out in the rain ? Damp/moisture can and will get in to led/lcd display and cause shorting issues. Check all wiring (esp the phase wire connections Blue/Green & Yellow thicker wires and the hub motor connection...

    Kt controller problem.

S866 is Brainpower display so isn't compatible with KT controller so won't work. Using throttle to test controller is a bad idea because it will max the current out and can cause damage if wiring/settings are wrong. You should always wire PAS up and test everything works ok in low PAS mode then...

    Bosch charger repair

Mainly the reason I use hub of any brand and KT electronics all easy to repair or fault find in the main. I had two or three wire faults which I have rectified within hours at home and the odd hub whine which has been down to bearings, again an easy repair within a day or two once parts received.

    Help! Major problem ....motor cable

Yes disconnect the wire that comes from the axle. Freewheel forwards and slight resistance backwards should hear a whirring noise as planet gears/clutch engage, means the hub motor is good. When you reconnect the hub/axle wire the motor if it doesn't freewheel as before or there is no slight...
