Powered Pedicabs/Rickshaws seized by the Met.

It's all about resources and trying to keep roads safer rather then being over handed. It is like a lot of the Met operations /exercises trying to keep streets safe and offering advice, it's not just the Rickshaws. E scooters users and non compliant cyclists (Red light running) etc, have been...

Advice appreciated : New controller purchase

If it's the controller in your post #7 above then there isn't a separate speed sensor as you have the white hall wire in the multiplug. I see a throttle and PAS sensor non of these will operate a speed sensor. Show us a pic of your bike and speed sensor you talk of.

Advice appreciated : New controller purchase

The White hall wire is for a speed signal so if the LCD isn't getting a signal for the speed it will throw up hall error, if your hub has not the capability you can wire in a separate wheel speed sensor with a spoke magnet. Connect the Red wire (5v) to the hall Red, Black (Gnd)to the hall Black...

Help! Lishui controller and LCD vs KT controller and LCD

They work fine and no issue with them, Woosh use them on all their bikes. You can't carry out any setting changes like the KT, except for basics like wheel size , speed and time.

    Yosepower hub kits.

Lishui have not parameters to mess about with for the user except the usual changing of wheel size, speed limit and time.

    I found this one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MEBO-Ebike-lithium-battery-charger-24V-29-4V-2A-RCA-phono-type-plug/113979190212?hash=item1a89b06bc4:g:5A4AAOSwyMVd1UQV

From your pic view I wasn't 100% sure or not that it is an RCA10.5 but now you have connector type, you are in a better position to see if the one you found matches your one.

It no matter what fuse is fitted, it needs checking first of all. All my 36 & 48v chargers have a 13a fuse in the plug.

Wisper 705 Torque: Frequent Cut-Outs Requiring Controller Power-Cycle

A controller can cause power failure if it gets very hot (thermal cut out) and then once sufficiently cool will work again until heat is an issue again.

Need Julet connector to JST connector cable

Higo and Julet connector's although compatible in that they interconnect are not compatible otherwise, the wire pin out sequence is different so they aren't mix and match at all.

Can You split the power of a conversion kit?

Better off using a large power wall/bank charged with solar power or deep cycle SLA batteries, non will come cheap.

Will the BMS stop the discharge before batteries are beyond point of recharging?

As AK has said you will never get the full capacity stated out of a battery. Manufacturers and independent data show that you need to discharge to 2.8v per cell to achieve this, for battery/cell longevity typically 3.2v - 3.3v is the minimum practical use of any capacity, 10- 20% of capacity...

Help! Just put on a 250w eBay kit. Can I turn off the throttle?

I can't be 100% sure but the system is likely a very basic speed controller cheap system , the controller proabaly needs to see a full working active throttle for the PAS to work correctly. Which is why we always tell folks to go for a smarter system that utilises a lcd screen with 5 levels of...

The charge connector in the second pic looks like an RCA 10.5mm type, measure the ext dia to confirm.

Before you do anything check/replace the fuse in the 240v plug it should use a 13a fuse. The Sans don't have an internal fuse so if a plug fuse change doesn't work then the charger is toast. The charger is a basic/generic model made by Sans there are others similar out there that are much the...

Help! Just put on a 250w eBay kit. Can I turn off the throttle?

It might be just a crappy speed controller kit and relies on a signal/comms from the throttle/ontroller to allow the PAS to work. The Green & Yellow are possibly the comms RX/TX to and from the controller that then allow the PAS to work. Red & Black are the 5v/Gnd wires and white the signal...

    Voltage

The charger if only reading 41.6v output is a bit low and should read 42v to allow complete balancing to take place by the BMS, most chargers have an internal voltage pot that can be minutely adjusted to give the required 42v output. Once the battery can supply 42v then it is for the battery BMS...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Generally China sellers are the best to go to. Topbikekit have the best and most comprehensive choice of KT compatible electronics for bikes. BMSBattery sell KT stuff, they designate KT controllers as S series. Also available from Greenbikekit who designate the KT controllers as CONxx. Other...
