    Hi. First ebike conversion.

Side off/release battery, both 10s4p. 29E 417wh or GA 510wh, life cycle wise 29E is far superior over 300 - 500 cycles if any one ever manages that many charges...

Some amount of ebikes here, not an ad, have nothing to do with the company.

I gave up using the site as it didn't work to well on my W10 laptop.

    Help! PAS does not work

It may be the angle /degree the sensor /plate is set at, try and see if you can position it so it sits more on a horizontal plain. If it runs in testing it should run in real time use. When you lift the bike rear up the sensor plain changes a bit and will be nearer the horizontal.

    Hi. First ebike conversion.

I have one of those batteries Sprite (PF cells), it needs about 22 -25mm clearance at the front /top to lift it clear of the top rail/receiver end and then needs 12- 15mm forward action to clear the bottom discharge receiver With pic #1 with your template no chance of it fitting on to the...

Tranzx 250w rear hub motor issue

The motor wire connector (8 or 9 pin Julet) is the one thing that most hub producers use as a standard, issues of compatibility may arise if a different connector type is used.

Brompton conversion... would this Whoosh kit work?

The Aikema 74sx is ideal for 75mm D/O's and suspect this is the hub Woosh will be using.

Brompton conversion... would this Whoosh kit work?

The 250w Nano needs to be an unsensored hub to use with the BPM controller. Any PAS sensor should work, you need the Julet wired one which Woosh will likely have for sale. Apart from that the 20a may be quite a lot for the Brompton use and Nano hub but this will only be available in PAS 5 or...

Hub or Mid Drive? Any views?

Wasn't the flag denoting a British company rather then a bike built in Britain ?

    Yosepower hub kits.

My lcd3 uses the older C5 programming and reduces current by 5a max in 0.5a increments, all I can say with my lcd is as long as P3/1 is set then current and watts in the 5 levels are noticeable. Typically the PAS levels %'s are 13, 20, 33,50 & 100. The later software only has 8 incremental...

    Yosepower hub kits.

I'm not sure on this but the power shown on the LCD is not the actual seen by the hub, I have a feeling it is before any power losses are factored in which is some 20% or more.

    Lifespan of ownership

My current regular use /daily bike is 7 years old and a kit bike converted 5 and a bit years ago it has seen 3 or 4 different motors on it and other bits and bobs, the two batteries are now into their sixth year and expect they may see me another 2 - 3 years of use. Once they have expired I may...

How to get the best from your battery

No. Ebike chargers charge or cease charging when the Battery BMS says so, If the BMS detects a fault or issue then it will prevent any power to flow.

Hub or Mid Drive? Any views?

The 905T utilises a daul PAS set up and can use cadence as well, primary is Torque sensing and the rider a can change to cadence using the 'F' setting.

    Hi. First ebike conversion.

Lipo packs tbh aren't worth the trouble now as lion celled batteries are priced quite well now with a good bit of choice available, no faffing with extra balance charging unless you really wish to only go to 4 or 4.1v max. Lipo was an ideal solution when lion choice was limited or for those...

How to get the best from your battery

Most lion cells if ordered via wholesalers/sellers come from the factory at a storage charge of approx. 3.5 - 3.7v, so manufacturers have likely tested them and the nominal voltage is best for longer term.
