It seems almost all are now shown as "Esteemed Pedelecers". Old Tom, Old Groaner and many historic members too. I've happily just stayed as Member, never liked titles. .

Probably being locally close to an area affects your view, but for me looking from afar, the inclusion of Spain doesn't surprise me at all. They've been well up to the game for decades, successfully establishing joint high tech vehicle and aircraft manufacturing facilities for major companies...

Not under our control though, it needs parliament to get a grip for a change. That said, I don't think Theresa May is helping that to happen with her confrontational attitude. .

I can't think of Theresa May's deal as a Brexit win and doubt any self respecting Leaver can. .

On 7th January Channel 4 will have a drama-documentary titled, "Brexit - the uncivil war". From the trailer it looks like it will be dishing the dirt on the Brexiters dirty tricks. .

I'm too sensible to have visited anything other than a tiny fraction of the entire internet. The only other forums I visit are three natural history ones and I don't belong to any social media outlets. So maybe not a very big win. .

You really are confused. There isn't a single remainer here who considers that a possibility now, nor does parliament. The trend is inexorably towards the possibility of a final referendum on the deal on offer, something that really scares the Brexiters as they see their dream receding still...

If you mean MPs, well they had expense claims to fill out. Then they had to ensure they received the money and kept it out of sight of HMRC. Then they had to spend some of it, takes time, since paying the mistress has to be kept from the missus. Then in the little time left they popped into...

He's just being consistent. Neither declaring a Remainer or Leaver. Neither declaring pro EU or anti EU. Neither accepting or rejecting the full text of the UN description of anti-semitism. Neither bringing or not bringing a vote of no confidence. So everyone can support him according to...

Two weaknesses. First the "just in time" manufacture of parts within vehicle manufacture and assembly that we are good at now can only operate between countries very close. The Japanese have tried it over long distances and failed, resourcing close instead. Second, the graphs exclude...

And still you insist on being wrong, you really don't have the faintest clue about me Very early in this thread I posted the only influence that made me vote to remain, and that was the factual state of this country in the decades immediately before joining in the European project. That is...

Wrong again, you really make a habit of it. The last time I read a newspaper was in 1972, having abandoned them through being sick of their distorting agendas. Even that was an evening paper, I'd abandoned the dailys three years earlier. You cannot say there wont be a referendum since, as you...

Yet another example of how Brexit supporters are losing it as the truth dawns of how fundamentally bad Brexit is and always has been. This is also very evident in this thread as Brexiters get ever more rattled by events. But they'd rather destroy this country's future and their children's...

Indeed that is what I was hinting at. I can envisage a future where the USA is acting in conflict with some EU interests, with the UK as its ally. The USA has been strongly opposed to the Galileo project from the outset, wanting Europe including the UK to remain dependent on their system. .
