Help with finding an ebike repair shop

Very true Daniel, Clive did just ask for LBS to help out. Being a helpful lot we do like to help folks to try and save them money by testing/checking themselves, though not every one feels confident diving in.

    Help! Switching between 2 batteries

For sparking I use a parallel Y lead using XT90 anti spark connectors, would be nice if they also did this to the XT60. Like Benjamin I use batteries of differing capacity and now and then during a ride I check them during a stop, voltages are usually within 0.1v.

    ASIAN HORNET ALERT.

Not seen one constructed like that on a tree Eddie, you are wise to keep your distance. Though fairly docile away from the nest any disturbance, vibration or sign of a threat then they will defend it.

My motor may be faulty - advice please.

You can test via Julet's if you have a spare or old cable to the controller , you simply cut off the connector at the controller end and bare the wires to see the colours for testing.

    New bike

I would consider one of the new Wisper offerings as they are UK owned, designed and assembled in UK/EU or a Woosh for the same reason, no use any one saying 'but they are made in China/Taiwan' because all bikes are even Bosch , Yamaha and steps etc, etc. They may be put together in Germany or...

    Q128C freehub replacement

I opened my one when it was brand new which might have made it easier and then added a bit of copper slip to the thread to make future opening that much more easier.

With your faulty motor/bike disconnect the motor cable and turn the wheel fwd by hand is it free, like wise rwd you should feel some slight resistance.
