    Accelerator and new law question

Don't worry about that they are available everywhere. They are only banned in their full speed version, legal as a walk along aid up to 6 kph and as a launching aid to 20 kph on s-pedelecs.

You said they were cold blooded not me! You should see them in the winter here, they go swimming! Here it is called the Bay of Biscay, there are no more trees to fall! :D But this month is not a month to put a bike outdoors without looking at the weather forecast and using a little...

So....as a lesson to New People...

Nope not a photo of the battery internals, check again. The photo shows some kind of plastic pack full of Samsung batteries not the guts of a bottle battery.

    quick quick!!! oxydrive

Riding uphill in rain, weight in the front wheel (if you are a cyclist it feels strange at the least), rear hub motors are usually bigger and thus have more grunt, you keep the quick release on the front wheel so you can take it off to put the bike in a smallish car... just a few reasons. Ride...

Maybe you don't have many +90 kph winds in Finland? Head winds that will stop the bike in its tracks. Side winds that will blow you across the road onto the wrong side and into oncoming traffic.

    Pointers for Newbie

BH and Orbea have large ranges of e-bikes that will be sold by your LBS in Spain so for your guarantee it will be easier. They will also blend into the local environment. Buy good locks and lock your bike everywhere. All 250 W bikes are "nominative" power and most all deliver up to 540 W in...

News: Belgian politician puts speed pedelec to the test

A Stromer of course! I will be following with interest the 100 km a day commute. Belgian moped plates are just as big as yours by the looks. Spain has compact moped plates and France between the two. Looks like he and the other person are wearing a Cratoni s-pedelec helmet, I can't imagine...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Thank God! I was beginning to think you were a superhero! I mean extreme biking, sculpture, haute cuisine! Welcome to the club. In my younger days I stopped in the Pyreneans (first road on the right after Andorra) to satisfy a natural need. I stepped through some bushes and found myself on a...

    L1e-A testing requirements

On an electric bicycle it doesn't make much difference - drivers can't see you/refuse priority whichever side you are on. Being right handed I prefer changing gears with my right hand. I have many 10's of thousands of miles driving on the left and 100's of thousands of kilometres driving on the...
