Best seller for the Bafang BBS01B?

PAS/cadence drives like BBS or hubs don't give much more even if you give it full beans, Torque drive like TSDZ multiplies your effort so range should be an improvement. The 12a battery is 576wh so should return about 30 miles @20wh/m if you aren't an average peddler.

Best seller for the Bafang BBS01B?

BBS most likely will need a programming cable to get the best out if it so another 20 -25 quid on top, My BBS01 came via Woosh in 2013/14 and KC was 30%, probably why I managed to get 52 miles from the 29E's.

Best seller for the Bafang BBS01B?

Simples get one from Woosh bikes or opt for the TSDZ. If you want the very high torque 25a ETM version look at Brighton ebikes.

    Throttles.. Again! Zzz

That said only one cut off is needed when using a throttle, a bike with a rear cable brake cable with a front hydraulic is an easy set up to acheive. Front hydraulic does most of a bikes braking with the rear just backing it up.

    Viking MT Tobin controller problem

The display may switch on but all or some other functions won't work. LCD displays are 5 wire (uart comms ) and communicate with more info via a paired compatible controller, extra functions and parameters are available that can be adjusted by the end user. LED are 4 wire (analog) and...

    Viking MT Tobin controller problem

Problem is OP's ask for help and then don't read advice given. Compatibility issues then arise when they buy anything that takes their fancy.

    Throttles.. Again! Zzz

LH & RH 108x not universal as lever is directional . Any kit using the 3 pin Julet will be compatible but who wants cable brakes when Hydraulic is so much better.

    Parallel Batteries

What's the controller rating on your Ezee ? 38.2v is about 50% considering battery is missing 5-8% top charge, advantage of paralleling is that not only does ah/wh become accumulative but also the battery amps. Even with a poorly/ageing battery cell amp draw is lessened, the only factor...

    TSDZ2 or BBS02B

The 35E has the best capacity of all cells and life expectantcy if you restrict it to 1c or 3.5a max which means 17.5a max for 5 cells in parallel , following extensive testing of many cells this is the one NASA have opted for to use on there missions, though I think 0.3c is there usage of...

Problems running lowest gear with highest mode up a climb

Probably in the gear ratio selected to much chain slack.

Battery won’t charge past 99% and won’t stop charging

At 99% battery is balanced, likely only time imbalance will occur is if you only charge to 80/90% then the BMS will not even think about it or a BMS bleed resistor fails.

    Tired legs.....

Whip out the old and replace with a new controller system, you have two options. A PAS cadence system or TS drive system, both need new controller and some wiring the later being a bit more expensive option.

    Mid Drive or Hub drive?

My next hub move is to replace one of the cadence PAS's with a Torque Sensor drive, a case of waiting to see what Woosh end up offering or a TS offering off Aliexpress with replacement controllers available.

    Mid Drive or Hub drive?

Integrated battery controller is neater, get a model like the Hailong where spares are available (once out of warranty worth having a spare controller for the future). Separate controller means more wire run and somewhere to house it, easier to replace with more amp/voltage rating available.

    Mid Drive or Hub drive?

Most kits in one way or another can go a bit more then 25km/h in fact 45km/h isn't to hard with some hub/controller/battery combo's, though range will be a lot shorter and possible over heating at continuous 45km/h. For 250w a hub is easier then CD to tinker with as a hub can take any controller...

    specialized levo battery health dropping

I expect they can check any parallel cell group as we can with a multimeter, each P group will have the same voltage. Any cell in P will support/prop up an underperfoming one, checking individual cells is harder when they are all interconnected up. There is a possibilty that one or two cells...

Something small for the London Overground

Marwood Hill would recommend the Kwikfold xite3, his thread below. https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/kwikfold-xite-3.31766/page-2#post-481290

    TSDZ2 or BBS02B

Your not going to get 48v 17+ ah in a bottle battery, you will need to buy the much larger Shark type case or the larger Hailong plus case battery. https://ebikebatteries.co.uk/product/36v-21ah-panasonic-ncr18650ga-tiger-shark/...

    Throttles.. Again! Zzz

For a better water resistant throttle option you need the Wuxing 108x model. Julets aren't 100% water proof, I have had water ingress issues with them before.
