(Halfords) Coyote Connect - Removing Speed Limit

Opening it up will do nothing, there are no potentiometers inside. If the speed can not be increased by the handlebar display then the controller will be restricted by programming or motor rpm. Only chance is if there is anything in the controller wiring, clear pics of all wiring would be useful.

    Troubleshooting dead battery?

Without more battery info it is hard tell, but you mentioned the word LEAD. It could be possible that your 36v 10a battery is a Lifep04 pouch battery and then the max charge is 3.65v per cell or 43.8v per pack as it will be 12s for Lifepo4. I tried blowing the pic up to count the ripples of...

    planning a 700c commuter

The Yose is 15a max power output so @36v so about 430w max output at the wheel, the 36v is very capable. At 48v and 17-20a it is the business if you want it to be. Comparing price to the likes of Woosh is unfair as Woosh give great CS and backup here in Blighty and this is factored into the...

    PAS

John you need to keep just one thread going as you now have 2 other threads on the same problem and replies to your issue. I have tried to help as much as I can so far with your issues but without the bike in front of me it is hard to see or test what may be wrong. Originally we sorted out...

lets finally de restrict the carrera corssfire e bike

Throttle won't work if you disconnect the TS as the programming won't recognise it. The Controller needs configuring to have a throttle fitted just like the TDSZ kits Woosh sells, they have two versions of the same kit one with and one with out. The lcd pin out is different for a throttle version.

Motus Hub, rear wheel slipping forward

With OEM bikes stick with the manufacturers fitting. With kits it can be different. On a front fork I fit A/R's inbound as this can prevent fork pinch on the hub if spacing is tight, like the rear if a disc rotor is fitted then spacing on the brake side is sorted first. On the rear of my...

Does getting an e-bike mean you eventually give up "conventional" bikes??

I have a gravel push bike and have done an 80 mile route and returned home knackered, I been out a couple more times but it has all but remained sat unused awaiting some leccy that may happen in the next few weeks when it arrives. Other wise it's leccy push bike or none.

    Motor + Pedal

The speed the hub assists to depends on voltage, rpm winding and the assist level it is set to as well as the controller. My Bafang Cst 270rpm wlll max out at 24mph @36v, though does cut out at lower speed if I set the assist speed lower. My Bafang Bpm 201rpm max's out at about 19.5 mph. The...

    planning a 700c commuter

48v will have more torque then 36v given a similar ( within 2- 3a) amp rated controller and more speed if you were to be naughty. Acceleration from a stop will be better. The main difference is in PAS 5 the torque/power for inclines is mighty at 48v, though the other PAS levels will be a bit...

Yose Power 350w rear drive - Kit review and stuttering fault

The V12L a few have had issues with theirs, you need to make sure it isn't pinched tight between the crank arm and BB, also make sure the outer section is firm and the inner rotates freely when the BB axle is turned. If the splines of the sensor don't grip the axle well use a wind of tape or...

    PAS Wiring

I replied in another of your posts John, but now seeing this you must have another or new PAS sensor as wire colours have changed. The KT controller is correct 5v Brown, Gnd Balck & Yellow SIg. Your Pas should have a wire pin out say which is which, if no then as Daniel has said 5v Red, Gnd...

    Powabyke euro 6 speed

Anti rotation (A/R ) washers are they in place should be on the inside of the axle drop out. AR washers are about 2-3mm thick with a small right angled tab that sits in the drop out. Some nice pics of the bike up turned with the wheel in situ.

    PAS WHEEL NOT TURNING

I re-wired/soldered John's PAS sensor up last week as originally it was wired to the speed sensor on the KT controller, it should work if not damaged.. I had to change the sm connector, I know the wiring is correct. Make sure you have connected the PAS to the correct controller connection. PAS...

Yose Power 350w rear drive - Kit review and stuttering fault

If you are using the V12L pas then I would look at that for any cutting out issue. I use std D12 on the rhs and works perfick also recheck your P1 setting & C1.

    Motor + Pedal

The motor has two speeds a load and unload speed, the load speed takes in to account the motor & electrics efficacy loss which is about 20 - 24% on the road. At no load as in your test there is little efficacy loss so hence the extra 24% speed. What you see is normal and most if not all all...

Sanyo NCR18650GA vs Samsung 18650 Cells

The choice is dependant on your pocket , though generally the GA has the edge above 1a per cell. Using the drop downs in the link below you can select both cells to compar. At below 1a per cell the 35E is slightly better but baove this the GA gives more mah also notice how the pair of 35E's...

Best seller for the Bafang BBS01B?

I still have it on an mtb with Alfine 8, I don't use it that much as I prefer my hubs. I use it mainly for muddy rides locally or to the N or S/Downs, controller isn't original as that one blew even without any programming. The only issues I have had otherwise is a snapped speed sensor...
