    Gear Hangers

The hanger is in the trailing chain path from the chainwheel, so the only power it receives is due to it's own jockey wheel and chain friction/drag. It's not subject to any rider or motor load, that being taken by the rear wheel sprockets. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Hardly Barnier Tommie, it's the last thing he wants. It's the UK's Brexiters who've voted for that monstrosity with their "Keep 'em out" and "Britain for the British" attitudes. .

I think the Woosh Santana 2 would suit you Vicky. Step-through, upright style and with a powerful rear wheel motor it will give plenty of assistance. With a choice of two battery sizes, both well within your budget, your height and weight are well inside the specification. Information link .

Do these luggage bags tend to move around when you ride on rough ground?

A bit like the 29er nonsense that so many were rabbiting on about a little while ago. Yet another largely imaginary difference. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes it could be tough, but I think the EU would devise a way as it's so much in their interests. And money talks, as second biggest contributor to the EU and therefore to those who might be most likely to be awkward, it's a lever. .

Indeed, Tim wouldn't be very popular with them following a panic evacuation of the building. :D Not to mention what the bomb squad would do to his batteries! .

    Update on N.I. e-bike regs.

Thanks Ted, I managed to read your original posts. The lack of imagination and refusal to explore anything other than the established legal position is frustrating to say the least The discussion about Sustrans and the poor implementation of the N.I. law on e-bikes just avoids the point that...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I watched Barnier there on TV. On your initial mention, parliament does have that freedom, I think you mean they couldn't enforce it on the EU. But I firmly believe the EU would be delighted to scrap Article 50, since it would so strongly support their position and be a setback for all the...

He's a career politician first, he used to back Thatcher's policies, now he's backing Theresa May's. Who knows who or what he'll be backing next, other than himself. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The Lords have just inflicted a seventh Brexit defeat on the government. Their new amendment gives parliament the right to reject whatever Brexit deal is reached, or even reject leaving without a deal. If not further changed it gives parliament the right to to rule that we stay in the EU. .

    Unidentified scooter

No it is in English, and underneath it says Fashion Power No: 1 with the word fashion in a different colour. So I'd say Power is the make as that is repeated above in stylised form, and Fashion is the model name. You may be asked the motor power in Watts which may not be marked on it. These...

There are postal rules for these as well Tim, so don't declare them on the packaging as batteries. They do X-ray random international packages so there's no guarantee they won't be intercepted. .

The only option you have is to take it through Motorcycle Single Vehicle Approval (MSVA) testing, but to do that it will need a VIN number. The link I'm providing below will tell you what you need to know about MSVA and if you scroll down to Vehicle Identification Number there's an address to...

    Update on N.I. e-bike regs.

Though he'll probably be aware of this case, it might be an idea to forward the Chronicle link to PSNI Chief Constable George Hamilton QPM. When he said, as he had to in law, that it was up to his individual officers, it seemed apparent to me that he'd be happy for them to ignore the current...
