    The Mystery Disappearance

Whatever happened to whistling? Those like myself of advanced years will remember when whistling was heard every day in many circumstances, workmen would routinely whistle as they worked and Snow White's seven dwarves even sang that as a song. Milkmen and other delivery people would whistle...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Only 14% of the English population live in the shires, it wouldn't be worth having customs posts on the county borders. :) .

Pricing of E-Bike, an academic survey

I've completed it David, but I doubt the response has much validity since it's not possible to make sound judgements of what doesn't exist. However the value to you of the survey is probably more that you've demonstrated the research and how thorough that is judged to be. .

Report: Cycling benefits for the elderly

The BBC TV news today carries a report on a study of a group of keen 64 to 82 year old cyclists. None of them are e-bikers though, they do their riding in the Surrey hills the hard way. As well as the obvious fitness benefits we'd all expect, it's claimed blood tests show their immune systems...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Bit of a giveaway that all had been supplied with the same pre-printed poster. A bit like the way those on pavements are handed the identical little union jacks to wave on routes where the queen is passing. Both synthetic valueless demonstrations. .

Cheap electric folder. Help me choose x

It's a long way off Kate, but since you say you'll mainly be a fair weather cyclist you might need to pay special attention to the battery next winter. If you decide not to ride for months then it's important to top up the battery charge once every two months to keep it in good condition. If...

Pricing of E-Bike, an academic survey

The UK legal motor power rating limit is 250 watts David, so the inclusion of 350 and 500 watt motors makes the comparisons invalid. They aren't options legally open to us. It would be best to have all options 250 watt rated. .

Then unless something about one appeals more, seems like a spin of a coin Kate since they'll both do the job ok. .

Cheap electric folder. Help me choose x

Any e-bike will be ok for that short distance commute Kate, so either one of those two you mention would be fine. The Woosh Gale is less expensive of course but the Byocycle Chameleon still within your budget and you can get that from your local Halfords. .

I thought of that hush meaning as a plus point. In selling mode I could make play with the Wisper It name and amuse the prospective customer(s) in more than one way. That's true about the competition being amused in a negative way, but they aren't the customers buying them of course. .

Go to work on a Pineapple! Wisper Folder sneak preview.

Pineapple is a good name, but probably won't appeal to all. There'll be those who can't see the sense of a fruit name on a bike. I like IT, Wisper It has a definite appeal in various spoken ways. Not only the obvious hushed Wisper it but also in the sense of there are many e-folders but this...
