Gave the Woosh Bikes a Test Yesterday

For a direct comparison ride the exact same route in assist 3 only, to compare battery usage. Previously I over exaggerated the extra range % quoted between pas 2 & 3, 60 - 65% is closer to the mark rather then the upper of 75%.

    S-KU95 controller help

I do hope that you find that the throttle is faulty with the test as it should give us an answer, the hall is housed in the throttle and like all hall requires the sensing of a magnet as it comes in range. I do remember seeing somewhere probably on ES, deleted member d8veh saying that KU...

    S-KU95 controller help

You can easily test the throttle, power up and with throttle connected probe the gnd & red at the connector. You should see 4 - 5v. Next check between gnd & signal wire (other colour wire white?), you should see 1v. Next with probes still on the gnd and signal open throttle up full and you...

    S-KU95 controller help

Yes, the KU & S0 series of controllers are made by Kunteng as are the KT from Aliexp. Before ordering just double check as I said in #80. Also I do wonder if your throttle hall is done for.

    S-KU95 controller help

I have mulled over the throttle again, we know walk assist works so know power to hub is fine. I'm not certain that throttle is activated only when pas is used. Double check throttle pins outs match each other.

    S-KU95 controller help

If the KT KU95 setting can't be changed to full throttle, then a KT dual voltage controller and lcd will work 100% as settings are user friendly and changeable. The pair are about £57 inc p&p. Sell the KU95 & lcd on here or ebay...

    PAS TYPE DIFFERENCES

There isn't a one type fits all as it does depend on the bb. Mostly decathlon bikes are cheap component bikes so ost likely a sq taper bb. Get you bike and worry about it once you know for sure what you have.

    PAS TYPE DIFFERENCES

KT V12 type all in one for use with SQ taper bb. Other KT type and similar with sensor on a 34mm ring fitting for most std BB's however magnet disc needs modding to go over gxp or hollowtech bb. Easier to tell/show us what you have to give advice. If you have gxp or hollowtech bb Woosh bikes...

    S-KU95 controller help

I think the bad news is it may not be able to change the settings of the KU95 to operate on full throttle alone.

    S-KU95 controller help

It means full throttle is only available once pas is activated and is configured so. To confirm this you need to manually get pas working first and only when pas is working try the throttle for full power. Pas might be directional and handed so try magnet disc rotation in both directions.

    S-KU95 controller help

Nice one, I hadn't thought of that as my controllers are usually from PSWP and not needing parameters changing.

    S-KU95 controller help

Being a new motor there shouldn't be an issue as they don't usually cause issues unless abused. We know it can run sensored or not so only the 3 phase wires can be of issue and unless there is damage where it enters the axle issues are unlikely. Does the hub/motor turn on the axle ok.

    S-KU95 controller help

The controller wire/cable to the hub is easy to check with a continuity check on each wire/pin out and will give a definite buzz. The led receives power via the controller and then sends signal back, you should see 54.6v at the controllers +/- wires with all connected up.

Before tightening up the calliper bolts fully, make sure the...

Front crank for a whoosh big bear.

Measure the BCD and bolt on a replacement, you may have to put in an extra chain link to lengthen chain. For correct chain length remove chain form derailleur and put in on front & rear largest gear/chain ring and the ends should meet with a one link overlap.

    Whoosh big bear

The BPM bearing is 6002RS a few £££'s on ebay, double check bearing code/part written on the bearing. Rotating by finger will tell if there is play or any roughness in rotation. Drive/tap the bearing out with suitable socket and mallet, refitting is a gentle tap back in and only takes a few mins.
