BMSBattery sell the 09 dolphin battery controller for integration with battery it comes as a kit with LCD and kit. 36 or 48v option. https://bmsbattery.com/controller/698-sine-wave-controller-for-09-case-controller.html DASKIT in Germany do a battery integrated combo unit as used in Oxydrive...

my enerprof softpack has arrived but not with lg mj1 but samsung 35e

As said you are reading the graphs incorrectly FP. The top graph in it's header clearly states it is 35E discharge and bottom graph clearly states it is MJ1 discharge. Each of the colour traces represent in both cases the same load applied (in amps), this is indicated in the bar at the bottom of...

my enerprof softpack has arrived but not with lg mj1 but samsung 35e

Two more graphs to compare lower amp load and for both, the cells are more equal though the MJ1 does hold up a slightly higher voltage curve longer to give 5-10% more usage time to a useful 3.2V. Ignore the lower voltage curves as most BMS have lvc set for 3.2v - 3.4v. It is only at a higher...

my enerprof softpack has arrived but not with lg mj1 but samsung 35e

My previous post doesn't mean you have got crap cells the 35E is a so-so cell with very good capacity if used accordingly. As with any good or very good cell you can't have or extract both of the batteries qualities of amp draw and capacity, you can have one or the other or compromise and meet...

    Charging

It was the case with Nimh cells as they had a memory effect, Lithium doesn't suffer that issue.

my enerprof softpack has arrived but not with lg mj1 but samsung 35e

Oh dear that seems a poor trade off cell price wise if they have charged you the same. At 5 amp discharge 35E is worse then MJ1 and sags more by virtue of higher IR.

    Buying options, opinions welcome

Kudos Stealth / Alamo. Derestricting means typically 10 - 25% faster riding under pas, the knock on affect is range/mileage is affected so battery ah/wh size will be a factor depending on the miles you want or need to ride.

Has anyone tried the ultra cheap Argos 700c electric bike?

With lack of racks fixings, one could resort to using a Thule pack n pedal rack though at about £100 with side racks not overly cheap but robust and very good and should fit any bike front or rear.

    Charging

Deep discharging is typically below 3.3v down to 2.8v to get the full quoted ah out of a cell depending on the amp daw , however most battery bms will cease discharge at 3.3v - 3.4v and the lvc will come in to play. Below 3.3v there is little capacity left and cells will crash quite quickly...

    Charging

I agree if going out for an amble or no where in particular but just to go and ride. For local use or commute use, usage is different, depends how far you cycle. If it's only 10/15 mins a day pointless recharging, in which case every few days will suffice.

    Charging

I would recharge, esp with low ah batteries as you will be stressing the cells more unless of course you have top 15/20a rated cells.

    Charging

I use my batteries on a 60./70+ mile rides and sometimes means down to lvc (3.3 - 3.4v) to get the range. Locally I ride using the odo and know the voltage they sit at, often I will ride down to 3.6 - 3.7v (about 30 - 40%). Generally charge after each use but quite pointless if l only a few...

    E-bike builder/converter near Merseyside

Hi Paul, To be honest you might as well buy an OEM bike it will work out just as cheap. Plenty of good choices to go for. Bosch drive from Halfords. A few from Evans and some on offer. Woosh for very good CS and good entry level bikes. Wisper bikes, Juicy and the well regarded Oxygen hybrid...

    First build spec

Duty is payable esp if FedEx deliver, expect it to be about the £25/30 mark. DHL I've never had to pay duty. Often an invoice for duty will arrive a week or two after delivery. Any kit purchased and posted from within the EU is of course duty free.

Problem with Yose power front wheel kit

Faulty cable unlikely but a continuity check would soon rule it out. Other wise could be a faulty batch of controllers I haven't tried my kit controller as I'm using a dual voltage PSWPower KT.

Won myself an off-road fun bike today

Hmmm!!! 1kw DD hub hope when you get it that you are not too underwhelmed with it's lack of punch (torque)at low speed and on inclines. Let us know your thoughts as you have a 250w CD bike to compare it with.

how to email psw power, yahoo does not recognise email address

Psw and Elifebike are the same but not Elifeshop which is a different vendor , so much so that my W10 notebook when I type in Elifeshop. com opens up PSWPower only. I also open up Chrome and it does the same so I am no longer able to see Elifebike.
