BBS will fit, though you have to check internal BB clearance as sometimes there may be some welds that need filing /grinding back a mm or two. Often you won't know if any weld material is in need of removal until you fit the BBS.

What does something rattling in side mean ? Is it movement of the pack or like a screw or bit of plastic loose.

From your description it sounds like the battery voltage may be collapsing, reducing the amps via C5 has helped by reducing the initial amp load asked of it. The Q100 is good or 15a and 20a for short spells. How old is the battery and cells used ?

The reason we know the Q128 is wound 260rpm and not 201 as listed is because all of our motors @36v can bit 19 mph.

The battery will have an internal fuse though some are accessible behind a rubber grommet. If the led display lights up then the fuse is ok, if it doesn't then fuse more likely has blown. If led's are on try disconnecting throttle and brakes to see if it works on PAS alone.

Bad battery contact seems most likely or a cell string voltage collapse if under a load. Most likely the former. You can't rely on what some led light's are indicating try a proper voltage reading. Charge the battery and then measure the voltage output from the battery discharge connector.

As d8veh has said any hub will have it's optimal speed depending on it's quoted rpm/winding. 201rpm = 15mph 260rpm = 19mph 328rpm = 25mph all +/- 1 mph. For instance a 36v hub over volted with 48v will give 33% more speed, thought he higher the voltage will increase the optimal rpm as well...

Throttle should place more direct load on battery then pas, so should rule out any duff cell issue. If all is well with throttle use Could be the pas magnet has broken/snapped also worth checking PAS settings. Have a look at the pas connector for damp ingress.
