That's why hub motors are ideal for road and light to med trail riding. Two of my 8fun hubs I have replaced the bearing/bearings cost about £3 - £12, so easy to do.

With lipo it is easier to simplify set ups, 6s combo's for 48v. 15s is bang on for the 63v capacitor limit for the dual voltage controller so 4.1v max charge per cell should work, though doesn't give much spare.

Over volting 24 to 36 or 36 to 48 often work fine the motors can take it just depends on the controller main input capacitor. Speed and torque are increased more so in the 24v case. Doing the reverse and under volting is pointless as you will lose speed and torque and effiency will be poorer...

Voltage doesn't have to be perfect yours are close enough not to cause any issues, I parallel with in 0.3v total pack voltage. The only real issue with larger voltages discrepancy is heat transfer through the leads/connectors as big amps will flow from A to B.
