You can use single wall though spokes length will need to be perfect to prevent punctures, use a good rim tape and all should still be fine with double wall there is little to worry. The link was a source of a cheaper rim option, have to admit sellers info was sparce so really needed a few more...

Q128C seems very slow - normal or not?

All my PSWPower KT dual voltage controllers have a sm2 speed limit wire connector, connected I'm legal at 15.5mph unconnected away I go. Not all KT's have a SLW, my Panda & Yose ones haven't. http://www.pswpower.com/upfile/dtpic/2016/3F/39N8.50CQE/44389X_4AUDX.jpg At the very bottom.

    Brake pads

I tried sintered and wasn't pleased with them, I found bite was poor and stopping power not very good. I thought it was my rotors so checked for resin only marked on them but found no etching, so tried a new rotor which was no better. Went back to my cheapy resin pads and hey presto mega...

    Brake pads

Deore covers a wide range of brakes, specific brake/calliper series number used may help I denitrifying pads. I find resin/organic give the most bite, in the wet I find braking efficiency it always a bit less but never less still good.

Speed sensor not required aa Q has internal sensing. Which pas option you use depends on the BB fitted to the frame, the dual hall only for sq taper and octalink. If you have hollowtech or GXP then you have to modify the ten poles one. Throttles are handy and I like to have one, though easy to...

    Powabyke Xplorer for sale

If the suspension unit is kaput it will be a really cheap bike. Whether it is air or oil shock might be bad news either way as looks like seals may be leaking to cause the sag.

48v Q128C will give you the speed you require up to about 25mph, 17a will be a good choice as you still will get good power without having to use pas 4 or 5 often to conserve range. Setting the lcd speed cut off to about 18/20mph will also help with range, though if you want to tonk a long...

    Woosh Rio 17AH Battery ???

I have a Lishui 20a controller it has 50v cap but have used it with 12s lipo charged to 4.1v per cell. Undo the four small screws on the end (opp end to wiring output) often you can see the up right cap sitting adjacent to the copper shunt, the cap will read either 50v or 63v. Chances are it...

Q128C seems very slow - normal or not?

If the controller restriction white wire has been disconnected and you adjust the lcd speed to about 45km/h you should see about 22-25mph depending on gearing. My 36v Q128C sees 19mph @36v, though when I eventually try it at 48v should see another 4- 5mph.

    Carrera E replacement.

Sourcing a battery from the UK/EU will work out as cheap if not cheaper as there will be no excessive postage involved or any duty to pay. This one from Elifebike/PSWpower German warehouse uses 10a rated LG mg1 2900mah cells, 65 18650's for 13s 5p...

No mention of cells used all it says is they are 2500mh cells looking at the price are probably no name China cells. The 14.5a version uses Panasonic cells probably PF 2900mah. Which controller are you going to use ? The integrated/battery controller is only compatible with the 09/dolphin case.

    Yosepower hub kits.

Hall sensor wiring 8 or 9 /wires = sinewave No hall sensor 3 wires only = square wave. Both controllers are hall sensor & sine wave both give quieter smother operation the only difference is 15a one is for 36v though can be used up to 12s with max 4.15v max cell charge to be on the safe side...

    Rebuilding a Wisper 905

The swizzbee has no lcd or led handle bar display, though has a trinagle battery/electronics casing with on/oof & power control panel. Speed sensor is a remote coin battery operated Sigma front wheel unit with 1/4 turn fitment which records data.

    Rebuilding a Wisper 905

Speed sensor isn't critical so will run without one, though most bikes that have LCD display also record trip and odo miles so incorporate a speed sensor one way or the other to record mileage. With lcd display though if sensor not working will throw up an error code and some will not provide drive.

    Woosh Rio 17AH Battery ???

If the controller had a main 63v capacitor to accept the higher voltage then you may well get away without changing the controller.

    Powabyke Xplorer for sale

Might have been 1500 once but not worth any where near that now. A rough used price guide is 2yrs < 35%, 2.5yrs < 40% & 3yrs < 45% then subtract new battery price for an end figure. Then it's only worth that which someone is willing to pay. A bike with a useless battery is errrrrrr , useless !!!
