    Yosepower hub kits.

Trying to interpret the controller letter coding after the voltage number is all but impossible impossible to guess what they mean. All you need to guide you as to their suitability for hub motor use is the legend /description or a view of the motor wiring.,

    Yosepower hub kits.

Both are hall sensor controllers. 36ZWSR even states Hall sensor next to the SPEED SET: on the right. Also has the universal 9 pin connector. Caps are 50v rated so will not except more then 12s @ 4.1v to be safe. I think all 36v kt start 36ZW. 36/48 SVPRD is dual voltage model with hall but...

    Rebuilding a Wisper 905

8 wires means no internal speed sensor, 9 wires internal speed senssor. Green thick phase wire Yellow thick phase wire Blue thick phase wire Red thin + Black thin - Green thin hall B Yellow thin hall C Blue thin hall A Speed sense wire usually white if fitted. In your pic I see a white wire at...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Yosepower are using the sine wave controller, the hubs are sensored with internal wheel speed sensing. The motor cable uses a standard 9 pin wire /colour layout which is universal, you need this hall sensored motor wire with white 6 pin hall block and 3 phase wires...

    Yosepower hub kits.

My all up is about 110/120kg carrying extra batteries and tools/kit etc, but I'm using a 20a controller so can give it more watts. The difference between pas 4 & 5 is very noticeable. I think 150kg at the std set up will be a little wanting esp on inclines , rpm is 270/290 so not a high torque...

Seized caliper piston. Is it worth trying to free it

Obviously this time SW forgot and left someone else's card at home this time .

    A little more speed?

18mph sounds correct for your set up, finding a down hill route will be best for more speed :p. The only way now to increase speed is to use more volts so either 48v, 12 or 13s. Wiring a 3s lipo or 3s 18650 small booster pack in series will give you 48v and an extra 3 -5 mph on your country...

    Gates Carbon Drive problems

The Swizzbee (see avatar) has chain drive gears and gates belt drive motor on opp side. No issues when riding along S/Coast between Worthing and Brighton. I can only think it is an alignment/tension issue, can't see it being a worn as they are supposed to have a very long life. Take it back to...

    S06S Controller Parameters

The settings I believe are saved as I use a lcd3 to make settings change on my town/commute bike then use a basic lcd 2 for basic data reading. Lcd1 or 2 only allow for P and don't allow C parameter changes. The only issue is you will loose the benefit of the 5 pas levels, though think with C3...

    Yosepower hub kits.

You can use a normal pas sensor and disc for hollowtech /gxp type BB's, just a case of drilling the center out nicely to fit over bearing housing. A single brake cut out might be prudent if you are using a throttle in case of throttle malfunction, brake cu tout just needs a bit of thinking thru...

    Yosepower hub kits.

I had no need to do anything as I already was using a pwsp 20a controller with matching components with sm3 connectors with the Q128c, all I had to do was swap out the hub. A simple mod you can try is to add solder to your controller shunt, this adjusts the resistance value and increase the...

Advice on storing e-bikes over winter.

Lots of theories but mainly it's more to do with storing them at lower voltage hence the recs for storage voltage of about 38v. In the cold they don't hold high voltage as well and sag is more prominent when in use, capacity will be less however once back in use at warmer ambient temps sag is...

    Hello from Ireland

Welcome to the forum, The Vulcan e is likely a better option then the Crossfire mainly due to the latter's cutting out issues. We look forward to hearing of your adventures and maybe some pics in time.

Please help me build my full suspension EMTB!!!

GNG and Cyclone aren't that popular as have in the main been surpassed by the Bafang BBS and its copies.

Please help me build my full suspension EMTB!!!

The battery is the main element of the bike not being rude but £200 on battery for a crank drive for several hrs riding will be pants. tsdz2 appears to have an Achilles heel with blue drive gear, it doesn't like to be stressed with too much power in high gear ok once you get going but for...

Advice on storing e-bikes over winter.

I keep my batteries at 38- 39v in the garage cool and cold never freezing, they come inside to room temp before charging.

Seized caliper piston. Is it worth trying to free it

As long as a calliper uses the same pads in theory you should be able to fit aand use any of the SLX range. Bikester £23.99 on sale at the mo.

Seized caliper piston. Is it worth trying to free it

£30 or so for a new calliper plus oil etc, new pistion kit about £9 each. Problem with calliper repair's if it doesn't work you have wasted money, at least with a new calliper you get new pads as well.

Please help me build my full suspension EMTB!!!

Unless you already have the bike them probably better to get a ready made e- mtb, coverting a normal bike with a decent kit isn't always cheap. Bafang BBSHD appear to be the most reliable but will need a very good battery to get the best out of it. For several hrs riding you will probably...

    Carrera E replacement.

Any double wall 36h rim should be suitable for disc & Q128c, though you need to check hole drilling compatibility if you use tubes Presta or Schrader. Again any spoke make will work look for 14g 2mm double butted spokes. Sapim or DT Swiss are often the better ones but other makes will be fine.
