Going electric, too lazy to pedal

Her battery is a 36V 15AH, 540W. How many miles do you get with a Bosch 500WH battery? She weighs only 65kgs and probably less bulky than you.

    Bosch Engine Repairs After Warranty??

that's why I apologized earlier for veering off topic. Andy Bluenoes is after a bike reliable enough for him to ride 8,000 miles a year. Would you suggest a CD bike? I may be tempted to make one with a specially built DD motor.

    500 watt e bike

fat bikes have 175mm rear drop out. The Bafang G06 is extremely quiet, can take 36V or 48V. It is as torquey as BPM, lighter, smoother and a whole generation more refined. http://www.szbaf.com/en/components/component/motor/rm-g06250dc.html I run my fat bike at 36V 17A but it can easily take 48V...

Brand new Haibike, two broken chains in first 35 miles, and other problems, advice needed

It only takes a minute to find out what's wrong with your hydraulic brakes. First, spin the wheel and check that the rotor is flat, not warped at some point. If it is a little warped, you can push it back with your thumb, don't use force, just a little push. Next, check that the rotor runs in the...

    Bosch Engine Repairs After Warranty??

Your chain got sucked into the ring or one of the cogs at the rear, causing the chain to jump and the transmission to jam. If your transmission is set up correctly, the chain never comes off and never sticks. On a bike with a hub motor, you don't need to change gear, there are far fewer problems...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

OG and oldtom, you two have really nothing new to add other than general ranting against the tories and wild speculations without much factual bases. Can't you see that brexit is not just about the conservative party? Is it too much effort to look beyond the crass that is printed in the Mail and...

    Bosch Engine Repairs After Warranty??

he's got a hub motor. IGH does not give him much of an advantage in his case because he does not have to change gear in the first place. His main problem with the transmission is chain suck.

    500 watt e bike

why 500W? My 250W fat bike has all that, hydraulic brakes, thumb throttle, except for the 500W label. BTW, you won't find a better motor for fat bikes than the Bafang G06. My fat bike has that too. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?rio-fb

    Brexit, for once some facts.

OG, you worry too much about the right wing press. You should stop reading the Mail and the Express. They are mainly in print, catering for an ever reducing readership. By the time we complete brexit, at the end of the transitional period, a lot more young people who have seen the running up to...

Going electric, too lazy to pedal

Hello AJB, I would recommend you take a look at the Woosh Petite. It has 15AH battery (that is the most you would find at the moment within your budget), is very comfortable to ride, requires very little maintenance and will do about 50 miles without pedaling at your weight...

Huh? in a parallel universe maybe. Even with the promise of a referendum before then end of 2017, they only got a very small majority.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

OG, please remind me when did Cameron promise a referendum on brexit? If I am not mistaken, Cameron could see that the tories could not win the last GE unless he promised a referendum. Once the genie is out of the bottle, all dark forces are released but these dark forces (OK, the Daily Mail)...

    Bike theft vs comfort

You are right to worry about rain, water is a potent threat to all electric bikes, nevermind how much you pay for yours. The main threat is to the sensors: brake sensors, throttle, speed sensor. Pedal sensor and LCD are most vulnerable to water ingress because of where they are located...

where did this information come from? We sell hundreds of bikes to Scotland every year. I would recommend you look at the folding Zephyr-2017. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?zephyr-2017 or the non-folding Rio MTB, both are good for your weather: http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?rio-mtb

    Bosch Engine Repairs After Warranty??

Andy Bluenoes is looking for a bike he can relies on for 8,000 miles a year, must last at least a couple of years - 16,000 miles. Would the Delite be a good candidate? You can see in my previous post, I offered him my Karoo or my Rio on sale or return. This is my degree of trust in Chinese bikes.
