    Brexit, for once some facts.

there is a percentage of voters who have buyers' regret but as you know, what would count is if some 30% of constituencies in England that voted for Brexit flip to remain at the next GE to change the course of brexit. Other than that, we are likely going to get 3 years of transitional...

paying over the price is when you pay £700 for the same 50 cells - not just brands, the same cells, that are found in a £400 battery elsewhere. And it is no guarantee that the more expensive battery is going to perform any better. Some people take pleasure in denigrating cost effective...

    More cyclotricity problems

where can you find a bike that can do 30mph with a £300 worth of parts if not China? The thing is, you can pay £3k for a bike that hits this sort of speed and that can conk out just as easily.

SW, if he has a Fox Float on his Stealth, they'll nick the fork and leave the rest. If he has a £700 Bosch battery, he'll have to carry it with him wherever he goes. You are talking utilitarian bikes here, the simpler the better. BTW, most of bikes under £2k have crappier forks than the...

Yes, I paid for the Rio with 17.5AH last week but the Tianjin factory is so busy that they won't ship until July, I'll get them in August. The Karoo can be fitted with 17.5AH battery from middle of June,

    More cyclotricity problems

yes, I think it is true not just for my bikes, but most bikes. Within my bikes, the Karoo and the Rio would do 40 miles a day on one full charge. The Karoo has a rigid fork, the Rio has a fairly good quality RST Omega fork. Both have GXP crankset. In my experience, a good fork, a good crankset...

    More cyclotricity problems

if you don't derestrict then your bike will last a lot longer and few things go wrong too. As SW put it, ' like a toys r us bike with a motor and batt.', I don't quite put it in the same way but a bike is essentially two wheels on a frame. Just compare the quality of the wheels and you can...

E-BIKES ARE TAKING OFF IN THE UK – AND A NEW TAX BREAK COULD ENCOURAGE EVEN MORE PEOPLE TO SADDLE UP

Wander, I did not admit I was wrong and if anything, you just admitted that you don't know anymore than I do. BTW, I use a solicitor when I buy a property and I act for myself when I sell.

E-BIKES ARE TAKING OFF IN THE UK – AND A NEW TAX BREAK COULD ENCOURAGE EVEN MORE PEOPLE TO SADDLE UP

do you know where I was wrong? the self administered schemes are not in direct competition with the scheme providers. In fact, you can download sample C2W contracts from various universities for free. The aim is to make C2W as popular as possible. The scheme providers are often in competition...

that may - but can you give Andy B a guarantee? I have sold a fair few bikes to commuters and as far as I can tell, derestriction is my biggest problem, not rain water.

E-BIKES ARE TAKING OFF IN THE UK – AND A NEW TAX BREAK COULD ENCOURAGE EVEN MORE PEOPLE TO SADDLE UP

I don't find it tricky. Most members don't deal with PAYE like I do. It's much less hassle than dealing every month with payslips, pension contributions and tax forms.

No. To me, inflation rate is a pretty much the price to pay for brexit, the rest is fluff.
