Blair should be prosecuted as a test case. Even if it fails, it will deter future PMs taking us into conflicts based on dodgy intelligence.

we usually leave some small cable ties and a small collection of tools in a toolbag. The toolbag is then placed inside the battery charger carton. The carton is then strapped to the rear rack carrier. Honest, it's how it's done.

The battery cradle takes 3 x M5 rivnuts. As you can't add rivnuts to the underside of your carbon downtube, I think you may need to design and 3d print a sort of sling to take the rivnuts, transfer and spread the 3.5kg weight of the battery on to your downtube. If you can do that, then you...

they usually are not very busy and they also like to practice a little bit their foreign language skill. In my town (Normandy), the library opens only on Thursdays between 11AM and 2PM but everyone is welcome, even 'the British', and they are not asked for proof of residence to take books out.

The Rio is a work horse. A nice, little demanding, reliable transport. You want to compare it to expensive toys which this bike is not.

that's not what the Rio is built for, is it? The Rio is built for low maintenance, SW. that you don't have to take it to the bike shop in the first place.

SW, as percentage of bike weight, air fork 1.5kgs, about 10% of bike weight. As I said, the RST Omega is lighter than similarly priced forks like the Suntour XCM, XCR and Nex, 2.2kg, still 10% of the Rio's weight. The Omega fork has 100mm travel and preload adjust to suit your weight and...

the two 61805s are on the outside, the 61904s are on the inside. They are longer lasting. When they need replacing, we replace Chinese bearings with French ones...

    Hello, Very heavy rider pondering.....

the axle of the hub motors on the Rios is supported by 4 ball bearings arstu. (2 x 61805-2RS and 2 x 61904-2RS) This is one of the 61904-2RS On CD bikes, the axles of the wheel hubs are supported by only two ball bearings and they are usually smaller in size than those fitted in hub motors...

the point is still same, we have always been semi-detached from the EU. We will be a little bit more detached after the transitional period.

    Are there any British manufacturers?

I don't own the copyright to the frames. I only get the frames modified to suit us, typically redesigning the downtube or the rear triangle. Like I've done for the Woosh Krieger, to accommodate the crank drive motor and internal cable routing:

I lived in France in the 60s and came to England in the 70s, just after the UK joined the EC. I agree that the UK has benefited from joining, the EU has been a stabilizing influence for a long time. However, the situation has changed. Our economy has grown stronger, we can now leave. The EU on...

the federated state of the EU seems inevitable also to me. The benefits are also clear to me, we see Rome achieved great things, a sparkling civilization. The UK is different in the sense that it has never been quite colonized like most other members. Plus, the English language sets us apart in...

OG, I don't generally trash the opposite arguments with pejoratives, especially when I have not fully understood what the other person means. They seem to me counterproductive because if it turns out later that my opponent is more right than me, I will find myself obliged to offer apology.

I agree that it is a predicament. However, there will never be a better time to leave the club if you don't want to be part of a federated state. Most of the 27 members can derive benefits from such a merger, UK and Ireland are not in the same situation.
