Is there a governing body to report a rogue e bike trader/retailer to ?

So what pgchimp posted below was a deliberate lie: .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

These costs could be avoided with a little patience. All we have to do with hard brexit is to wait five to ten years when the poverty stricken UK will no longer be attractive to any immigrants. .

Is there a governing body to report a rogue e bike trader/retailer to ?

The only way we can balance such reviews if they cannot be trusted is for you and pgchimp to state who the trader is. If you don't do that, the imbalance of information remains. .

    E-bike & battery life span?

The A2B is strong and should easily last ten years. Transmission wear should be low given its moped like power, so at 1000 miles a year the chain and sprockets could easily exceed 5 years if you give them the occasional drop of oil. Tyres, three or four years at that annual mileage, but brake...

I got my A2B Hybrid, and I'm hating it.

There's no doubt it was designed that way, primarily as a stylish moped rather than an e-bike. I always thought it well designed for its purpose, but best in the 20" wheel version where it's power and climb ability matched that purpose well. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Make it four of us, I posted long ago that I hope we do leave so those who voted leave get a real sense of what that will entail. Shock treatment is sometimes the best option for a return to reality. .

It's precisely because we are grateful for what we've got that we want to keep it, so argue against the Brexit loss. .

This is what Kudosdave posted: "It appears that those who voted Remain and are not happy about the Leave vote are Remoaners. Those who voted Leave at any cost are Brexidiots. Is there are middle ground? KudosDave" And this was your response: "So everyone who voted to leave is an idiot and...

Old chap looking for e-bike that looks nice and handles like a proper bike

Only gets trashed because of the poor specification, average motor, small battery and no gears. The same price can buy a sound e-bike with a more powerful motor, a range of gears and a larger battery. I think you should try one or two more e-bikes before buying, few will ride like a normal...

Is there a governing body to report a rogue e bike trader/retailer to ?

What else can we assume when you post allegations but refuse to give any information. As for assumptions, you made a very large and insulting one by assuming you would be flamed if you identified the trader. Try being open and honest in the way you post and you are likely to be treated the...

OK. So how do people with glasses and false teeth ride without mudguards

To my mind a bike on the road without mudguards is even more daft than an open top car without them. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes, the zero rate will be possible, but we'll have to see whether the politicians apply it. It was easy for them to say we can't due to EU rules, now they may just duck and dive. Two definite worthy candidates are womens sanitary products and fuel bills. .

Maybe we'll even make the little jars that Marmite goes into, instead of importing all of them from the USA. We could even get really ambitious and print the labels! .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Maybe we'll go back to the "good old days" when instead of VAT at 20%, we had purchase tax at 33.3%, or 66.6% on "luxury" goods, luxury being dictatorially defined by the Chancellor of the Exchequer of the day.. .

Raleigh are increasing prices by 10% as from August 1.

This is clearly both intentional and necessary to achieve union. The principle is that the eventual benefit of union as one country is so great that it should be pursued by the necessary means. Since union could never be achieved by democratic negotiation between multiple countries, a degree...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The issue of understanding wasn't about how the EU worked, it was about the EU's influences on the UK, positive and negative. It was clear that a high proportion of Brexiters didn't understand all the aspects of loss if we left and didn't adequately understand the costs and benefits of...
