Replacement 26V panasonic type battery charger required

Not about the charger internals though, since all those I've seen have been deeply covered with opaque brown encapsulation. .

    Pretty bikes

I see it's from Suncycle, their previous three crank motors have been very low powered, so I hope they've made it more powerful this time, Certainly looks very neat. .

Although unconnected with him, the 2007 European Commission permission to use imperial weights indefinitely was a vindication of the courageous stand in favour of commonsense that he and many others made. .

    Ford launches e-bikes

I'm confident it won't happen, the nature of the announcement bears all the hallmarks of previous introductions by the car companies. It's usually their token way of appearing to have green credentials to help offset all the criticism that they get. .

Brilliant! :) Reminds me of when I asked for a 5" masonry hole borer in my local tool hire. Older guy peered at his range and said, we only have them in millimetres. I immediately said 127 mm, which they did have. Clearly he had no idea of how to convert on the spot and equally clearly the...

Yes, Gnat it is. Strange though, rather like Gnu (wildebeest). Makes one wonder why we don't have Gnewts, since wildlife seems attached to that silent G. .

Someone certainly Dave, but cheap and Dyson are conflicted terms! .

    Ford launches e-bikes

I think the ratio of width to diameter would be a problem too, most bikes using 26" or larger wheel sizes. To be strong enough the weight would be high. Also it would split the market, only disc brake bikes could use alloy wheels unless the rim walls were expensively ceramic coated. .

S class bikes spreading more widely

No problem, that's technical. ;) 25 to 28 ozs would have been nice though! :p .

Of course there is truth in this Sherman, but I know that, partly for evolutionary reasons, people have a preference for smaller numbers over larger ones. Some years ago I conducted two small experiments which clearly showed greater accuracy of visualisation is achieved when using the smaller...

Which one to sell and which one to keep?

You did well to get that price quickly at this time of the year, congratulations. I hope you can repeat the trick with the other one. .

Yes, they are at least practical as you say Trex, unlike some of the previous flights of fancy. I would have preferred to read about launch plans though, rather than a vice president spouting guff and the use of the word experiment. .

    Huge growth in Netherlands e-bikes

Yes, the Belgians are certainly well behind the Dutch in the e-bike market. The Danes were late starters too, but are now rapidly making up for lost time. Germany though is the second largest market, again dwarfing ours. If we'd kept pace with The Netherlands, the UK would have had almost...

    Ford launches e-bikes

The car companies keep doing this with extravagant claims, and they never come to fruition. Previously producing bikes and e-bikes over the years it's been Peugeot, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Smart and others I've forgotten. .

    Huge growth in Netherlands e-bikes

I've previously been surprised and envious as The Netherlands e-bike market grew beyond 1 in 8 bikes sold, but now in 2014 it was a staggering 1 in 6 of all bicycles sold, and of all bikes on the road, over one in 5 are now claimed to be e-bikes. The Dutch are certainly having a love affair...

    What a blinking good idea!

This is also the position EU wide in the new regulations, optional if in accordance with UNECE 74 on L1e-B (mopeds) and not at all on L1e-A (low powered mopeds), aka e-bikes with throttles and up to 1000 watts. .

I mix and match very much like John, freely using whichever is best for a purpose, even to the extent of using both at the same time since I'm so familiar! I joined a trade using both in my mid teens, long before UK metrication. In my twenties I was working in France for an engineering company...

    What a blinking good idea!

Yes, fully agreed and I meant that. The indicators need to be large enough, bright enough and similar enough to common practice to be of any use in achieving greater safety. .
