Has anyone done the conversion, if so can they give me any pointers, if not does anyone have any suggestions as to what to use, it's for my wife, very unfit, 18 stone+ journey is 1 mile uphill a rise of 200ft & then downhill on the way back.

TIA

Alan..

The mid drive route will cause handling problems cornering is a heart in mouth experience if you can get to fit the odin has several lumps and bumps on the frame but a front wheel conversion is far simpler

The folding one will not really be suitable for a mid -drive. The kit mentioned above by woosh is a good option with uk tech support and all vat and duty paid

Does that have a 100mm or 74mm dropout? Do you have any 20" kits with a 74mm dropout?
It's weird that the Woosh website link for that kit doesn't mention axle size.

There are very very few hubs to fit 74mm width D/O's and the one I mentioned is one of the very few. The same motor in silver is sold by Bmsbattery as the Q70, both are 36v 250w and are Aikema's.

Thank you that's the type of thing I would have missed
I haven't seen on the thread anywhere where one has specifically mentioned the D/O width so best to check.

We don't pick the trike up until tomorrow so I don't know what it needs yet, BTH until it was mentioned earlier I wasn't even aware there were different ones.

Likely it will be 100mm but it is best to be sure before searching.
