My 2006 Ezee Torq needs a new throttle.
Existing colors are red black and green, my replacement has red black & white, I have tried varius combinations with no joy.

Anyone solved a similar problem? :(

Cheers

The red and black connections should remain the same, the white, green or even yellow being common substitutes for each other.

Try again, red to red, black to black, white to green. If that doesn't work, it's possible you've damaged the new throttle's Hall sensor by connecting it wrongly.

Hi Very simple

The red is + 5 volt red to red

Black - ground black to black

other color is variable voltage any color to any color

If that don't work it is not the throttle that is the problem

Hi

Be careful the wires are connected to the battery if you cut them off the meter Just insulate the ends with some tape and leave them DON'T Connect them together You may catch fire to your bike as there is probably no fuse In line
If not sure post some photos so we can all see the problem

Hi Zebody
Just out of interest, what makes you think the problem is at the throttle or charge display?

Ezee Torq 1 2006

Hi Frank

My old throttle was physicaly damaged, when it returned from twist to standing it would still try to move forward and was a tad dangerous.

I put a new throttle on and it workrd fine then cut out,my battery meter has been damaged for a year or two (taped up) so I moved the wires a bit and the throtle worked again for a while,

So as as I do not really need the battery meter as I always set my odometer after a charge so I know how far it will go.
Plus the damaged and expense of buying a new one I decided to cut it out.
I am sure I read on pedelecs that it would work fine without it.:(

Kind Regards

Zebody
