The original 46T chainring shipped with the Bafang BBS01 BBS02 kit is not suitable for MTV use

A chainring 36T, increase the torque by over 33%.

Other solution, adapter 104BCD + chainring 36T + bolts but this solution is more expensive

Nice solution, the large chainwheels found on crank drives has always put me off them. difficult to get the gearing low enough for my local terrain.
Where did you get the 36t chainrings ?

Excellent ce spider Sly74, il marche aussi sur le GSM de chez Woosh, je vais commander d'autres tailles l'année prochaine. ;)

Just saying, for those who don't speak French, that it is an excellent quality spider and also works with the GSM. I have 42 and 32 tooth chainwheels mounted, the front derailleur is a glove in the pannier :) As I continue to play I will order the others to have all three BCD sizes so that I can experiment with various chainrings.

Mmmmmmm, was that a shill working for PreciAlps perchance

I've never had a problem negotiating any terrain using a custom 42T chainring, so why on earth you'd want to ruin a good chainline with adapters and chainrings is beyond me o_O
