Many come in just for advice on what to buy, then only return if a problem occurs. Understandable really, since most e-bikers are utility users and not e-bike enthusiasts. To them it's just transport.

It is good to see the 5,000 barrier broken, but this is only a small % of e-bikers in the UK and there are always far more guests viewing the forum than members.

I also note that someone is about to break the 20,000 posts barrier:eek:, now that is a truly amazing acheivement;)

How do we mark that one? Any suggestions? He certainly deserves special recognition.

How about a £4 donation from every member - would love to see what new bike he would buy;)

Hmm thinking about it he would probably just buy a bigger shed:D

No way, no award necessary or desirable. Just like all members, I'm in here because I enjoy it, and if I can occasionally help someone at the same time, well that's just a bonus.

I wish the Transit forum was like this one. I've just bought a Transit camper van that has one or two problems, so I went on the Transit forum to ask a few simple questions. I think I've asked about 12 questions altogether and didn't get a single relevant reply - maybe one if I'm generous. Grrrrrr!

Try this: Forums | Out and About Live

You will have to register, then post thread in "motorhome matters" section. some very knowledgeable and helpful people on there. I would be surprised if you did not find what you need

Maybe next week, thank God the Brompton's under going a motor cable change at the moment, awaiting new connectors.
I think you would fare better on 3 wheels than me on 2 if we went ice riding.
I was there on Wednesday on the convenional Brompton - there was ice forming on the lake.

Good news is, if you still go, the Lakeside Inn re-opened last week after being shut for renovations.

Expires tomorrow:

p.s. New survey? "What would you want in your shed"

1. Roof mounted solar panel re-charge station.
2. ?

Feeble excuse Shem didn't take you for a whimp:p
I am not really tempted by the free starter on the menu at the Lakeside Inn, now if it had been a free beer:)
