Eight cars behaving badly, in just 18 miles of main road. The remaining 50+ miles of minor road and cycle path/route were uneventful.

This is 'free' Vimeo, not sure how good quality will be. Original is 1080p / 24fps.

(Turn the sound down/off, it is GoPro Quik app's choice...)

This is typical of the main road sections I unavoidably have to ride where no alternatives exist. One 'reportable' incident every couple of miles.

The camera is exactly above my front wheel, so my centreline is the middle of the frame. The offside of my trailer is in line with my mirror, about 400mm from centre.

Five on mandatory double white lines. Seems a lot of drivers up there don't understand that law, or more likely just know the risks of being detected are minimal. Foreign number plate grey car at 31 seconds following though at even higher risk.

Book 'em Danno!

(for those who remember Hawaii 50 :))

I thought that it was legal to cross solid white lines if passing a slow moving vehicle (up to 10mph) ?

Not sure how a driver is meant to judge the speed though.

Try the road from the cullins campsite on Skye to Portree(the capital). Same close passes, only they pass you at 80+mph.
You dont really hear them coming, they just flash pass you with a roar that scares the utter crap out of you.

I dunno, maybe they should install something on the dashboard of the car to indicate speed? :D
