A Win for Chargepoint and e-biking

Back in June 2010, member Kitchenman posted on this link asking for support of a planning application for the Wellington Arms pub in the Basingstoke area to have a building which would include a charge point for e-bikers.

Many of us wrote in in support and I'm pleased to say that I've just received a letter from the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to say that planning permission has been granted.

Just got my letter as well, although it makes no reference to an E-Bike shelter, but its great news. I hope the pub reaps the benefits and if I find myself up that way I'll be making a point of visiting and spending a couple of bob.
