Agattu delay sweeteners

In my memory I have a clear recollection of a post saying that 50 Cycles were offering customers who had ordered models that were subsequently delayed the choice of either free panniers or a cycle computer by way of compensation.

Now however, search as I might, I can find no sign of this on the forum. Can anyone who has recently received their bike, or is still waiting like me, confirm this - or do I need to have a nice long lie down in a darkened room?

Thanks for that - I was searching for "computer", didn't think of "Speedo"! (Haven't got the nerve to wear them anymore either, baggy shorts for me )

I received a set of panniers from 50cycles last week as compensation for the delay. I also got free subscription to AtoB magazine for a year.

I think 50 cycles should bend over backwards to make amends to waiting customers.

In the 6 weeks ive waited for my bike, ive slowly built up on my equipment after paydays.
Ive got......
A helmet
Panniers
Lock
jacket
mirror
Water bottle
Puncture repair kit.

So I dont need anything from 50cycles in equipment, cus Ive got it all whilst waiting for the bike.
I just want a reduction in price cus of the wait.
