Hi Simon,

Your anti-torque washers are on the outside of the frame.
Can you swap their positions to the inside?

Thanks very much for the help.
Didn't realise how much flexibility there was in the dropout.

Also the example photo I had showed the anti torque on the outside .

So currently it goes from outside in

Nut, large washer [Dropout] anti-torque, spacer [cassette]

Sound right?

When you put the motor in, you should start by getting the spacing right on the disc side. Normally, you need the anti-rotation washer on the inside of the drop-out plus one standard 12mm washer behind it to get the disc to line up with the caliper.

On the other side, it doesn't matter so much. You use whatever washers and spacers you have to bring the frame clear of the chain when in top gear.

I see you're using an 8 speed free-wheel. That will make the whole assembly quite wider than 135mm, but if you have 145mm, you should be OK.

Once the wheel is in and spaced, you have to make sure that the rim is more or less central, which normally means dishing the wheel. The more spacers you have on the disc side, the less dish you need, but you have to have the disc lining up with the caliper, so if you put an extra washer on the axle, you have to use an equivalent disc spacer.
