And be a rich, unhappy or dead person.
.
It is possible that people who are of a more 'careful' disposition with money end up unhappy. Certainly they might go that way, but there is no possible way anyone can suggest that this is systematically the case. I am careful what I spend on and I am very far from being unhappy. Quite the reverse. I get a lot of joy out of life every day - only from other kinds of things and relationships. If I fall off my perch tomorrow, my sons can do what they like with me and my assets - such as they are. I learned a long time ago that spending for spending's sake, or lusting after gadgets and then spending a lot on them brought very little pleasure to me in the long term. Other things did.

These bikes are category 5 and have a five year frame warranty.

Bike Category 5, is a set of conditions for operation of a bicycle that includes Conditions 1, 2, 3, and 4; extreme jumping; or downhill grades on rough trails at speeds in excess of 40 km/h (25 mph); or a combination thereof.

Carbon is not only about weight it's very durable when constructed properly, and enhances the riders control and power delivery. We have sold carbon frames for more than £6,000. All these advantages are tiny, much like someone fitting Shimano Dura Ace, the advantages are slight but not insignificant. Absolutely not for anyone with out a real passion for extreme cycling or racing.

The bike at the the back is a Scott Addict E-Ride! Not for everyone.

All the best, David

Never a fan of full carbon, better with an alloy rear, especially given the bike is going to be subject to a series of knocks and bumps, neither of which carbon will absorb in the way alloy does.

£4250 i think it was.

Considering a robust carbon frame from a good manufacturer is usually about £2500, add the motor and battery plus the gubbins and adding on profit margins, its about its money.

Specced with a 170mm fork, and i think yours is 160mm, though you should be able to up that to 170 with a new airshaft, though for pottering around the streets and canal bridal paths, 160mm would probably be fine. slight change to geometry and handling, but i doubt its anything worth noting.

SW would likely have had two ends of a bike by now as he does like acrash or two, so surprised if he would go carbon.

Did SW crash with his Haibike?

Great news. This is top of the list for my next emtb. The unno didnt cut it due to lack of cable derailleur port. I don't want sram electric foolishness!
Following with great interest.
Take my money! Well actually dont. Seeing as i nearly got burnt by pole last year to the tune of 5k, im only ever walking into a shop, paying and walking out with a bike from now on.

Yes, same for me. My £245 Argos ebike just doesn't cut the mustard anymore. I'm not going to pay the £8,799, though. I'm waiting for Wisper to offer a discount on it. I asked for £10 off, but got no response. I'm patient. Sooner or later the market for it will be saturated with those bikes, then they'll be begging me to buy one, and offering huge discounts.

I love mine.

Send yours north where it will be loved and cherished.

We Northern Barbarians are not as fussy as Southerners.

@Wisper Bikes i recall seeing these came with the 4A charger rather than the fast charger?
How much extra is the dji fast charger?

Edit. I suggest you post on emtb forums. There is a running thread and a lot of interest in this emtb.

I've got two. Did your hear that I got a second one for £100. It was an Argos return - nothing wrong with it except the missing charger and a broken mudguard. I have loads of chargers. If you want it you can have it for £100 plus shipping.

I'd be rather careful about 'fast charging' if I were you. Your battery will thank you by lasting longer if you don't charge it fast, and so might your fire insurer when it doesn't burn down your house, and, or garage.

Hmm - I am interested. Perhaps pm me photos of the broken mudguard.

Hi Mozzy, I’ve just been accepted onto eMTB forums. I’m waiting for my Velduro website to be finished, hopefully next week, then will then engage in the thread. As you say there is a lot of chat about this bike and some very serious interest. Samples will be with me early September in time for a day out in Surrey Hills with a film crew and a couple of great riders and reviewers one of whom (Ben) is getting over 200,000 long video views on you tube and more than 800,000 on Insta a month. He is so excited by this bike he has ordered a sample and now has joined me as a partner in the Velduro venture.

All the best, David

What's depreciation like on thse new bikes? Permanently unlocked to 1kW, I doubt those DJI special sauce celled batteries would survive for long.
