Yeh, click and collect was what I did. They say they'll let me know by Tuesday if it's available. Thought it seemed too easy.
Anyway, currently looking at this:

Have seen a DS1 in the flesh so I know the frame suits. This has hydraulic lockout and 160mm discs. More expensive but I think it's a better spec. Also has 48t main chainring and rear mounting lugs for carrier/mudguard. Not sure about front mudguard, may have to be the 'plug in' type.

You can fit SKS Beavertail XL mudguards to any bike with or without the bolt-holes.

Rutland currently discount their 2015 Giants.
This 650B Giant ATX hardtail seems good value at £279 and easy to convert.

Thanks Trex, only thing is, as a mountain bike, I don't think it has mountings for a rack. However, as it's a hybrid, I think this one does.

Are the front dropouts on Giants 100mm?

Ok, so Halfords finally came through. Picked this up yesterday, once I've got all the bits and pieces together I can make the transfer. Thanks for all the info, I shall post the results
