Anyone Interested In Becoming A Dealer/importer

Gepida is a name most of you will not have heard of, they are part of the large Hungarian manufacturer Olimpia Bicycle Ltd.
Olimpia manufacture over 500 bikes per day and export all over eastern and western Europe. To date, they do not have an importer or dealer in the UK and are actively looking to enter this market.
Gepida is the first company in Europe to manufacture high quality e-bikes with the latest Yamaha crank motor and battery system, very similar to the Panasonic system.
I think that the Gepida Yamaha Pedelc could well become a serious rival to Kalkhoff and their sister Panasonic powered e-bikes with competetive pricing. The current retail price of the Gepida Dutch style Yamaha Pedelec is €1799. Hungary is not in the Euro zone and hopefully a favourable wholesale price could be negotiated.
Obviously, lot of other issues must be solved, like warranty, after-sales
service, spare parts etc.

Looks a nice bike....but small battery and if price similar to Kalkhoff (without the support) what's the point......

The frame looks identical to a far cheaper bike posted this week, but the name escapes me

The point is a dealer or importer would give after sales service as they have in mainland Europe. These are not cheap bikes in any way, build quality is good and the components used are also good quality.
I can't say how the performance compares to a Panasonic powered bike, but a young lady I know rode one from Budapest to Bratislava in 2 days covering a distance of 190 Km, recharging twice each day. Most of the route was fairly flat and she followed the Danube upstream for a lot of the journey.

hi dont understand how this bike is so expensive as manufactured in a relativley low cost country. when in japan yamaha pas brace admitedley with smaller 4ah battery but with huge rise in yen value the brace should retail for £950
