No I missed the £250 price:rolleyes:

guaranteed it has gone at that price.......The buyer as bad as the seller IMO

you have to be quick, I have seen people advertising saying , whoever has bought my stolen bike (with a link to item) may they feaster in hell and such like...This is a common occurrence on Gumtree "the home of stolen bikes"

I have inquired re bikes now and again, and when you ask for original receipt you never hear anything back......

keep em peeled people!

It's a Tasman model, and no charger and key usually means stolen.

However, easily checked since 50cycles are the only source and I am sure they will happily check that sellers name, once ascertained, against their purchase register of approximately 6 months ago.

If the seller refuses to disclose their surname for a security check, it's stolen!

99% stolen

yes it's 99% stolen, no charger and no key means obvious or what a coincidence that the fellah lost both things at once.

it's sad that the someone bought it instead of reporting it to the police. Now it's obviously all down to Scott and Tim from 50Cycles in not supplying the charger and the replacement key.

There is a number on the back of that part where the battery/seat slides down, is that my ID number? (as my memory is very bad and my bike is temporary away I cant check) So i am automatically registered, or is this only with the bike in question, the KALKHOFF.

Those pen's you buy which only show up with police lighting, its a good idea to put your post code somewhere on the bike.

The Panasonic 10 Ah battery does have a slightly fat box Eddie, mainly since it's much lower in height than those on other e-bikes. Only weighs 2.3 kilos though.

Mmmm gumtree. A colleague had his bike stolen at Westminster, it was left locked for about 10 minutes so they must have been quick. I gave him the gumtree website and sure enough a few days later his bike was advertised at an unbelievable price. He tried to get it back but I think the stealer smelt a rat and fled.

Well, someone did try to buy a charger for a Tasman this week and we refused to sell it to them as they could not supply a serial number or name of registered owner. I can't prove it was the same person supplying this bike though. Rest assured that we will only ever sell chargers to a registered owner who can provide a valid serial number.

Keep 'em peeled.

It is a shame the police where not more interested in bike theft. if the police where more proactive they could trace him I am sure via the mobile number/ advert whatever. it would only take a small team to jump on this sort of thing seriously.

But no...they are more interested in wasting our money elsewhere. like a team of ten, armed with machine guns, surrounding a drunk, peeing on a Christmas tree at Kings X station (an image that will stay with me forever:confused: )

maybe I will write to Boris:p
