do you mean the 6V output for lights?I fitted my bafang last week and didn't fancy the idea of the two unused wires just hanging there waiting to collect water so I've taped them to the larger battery leads.
Hi what's modified about the version I have other than the 6v power outlet.do you mean the 6V output for lights?
that's a modified BBS01B.
The ones I sell don't have 6V output for lights.

If the location of your cage bolts do not fit the slots on the mounting rail, you may need to install one or two M5 rivnuts on the downtube. You don't need any special tool but if you have never done this before,Read this article or watch this video:

no problem I had to move two of the fixings on this one by the look of your pic I looks the same 15.6 ah as this
if you turn the bike upside down with the bb upwards you could work sitting in a chair if you get stuck I will come over
Luckily I have a 90 degree air drill so no problems with that bit. That Youtube video about cage nuts makes it look so easy. Look at the size of his frame. On a typical MTB, there's no room to get the drill in the triangle, especially for those 08 shark batteries, where the fixings are at the top. You'll need to come up with a creative idea for how to drill the holes. I use a Dremmel, but you have to be careful.
I use a 6mm drill bit and drill at a slight angle then finish the hole with a round file. It only takes a couple of minutes. On a typical MTB, there's no room to get the drill in the triangle, especially for those 08 shark batteries, where the fixings are at the top.
