Bafang motor 700c to 26"wheel

Can i change the motor on a 700c wheel to fit a 26"whee,l would there be a problem with this with the controller or size of wheel,i may and see if the 700c wheel with motor will fit my mountain bike frame would this work without having to swap the motor?

It will work perfectly ok, but the maximum assist speed will be 7% slower because of the smaller diameter. For example, if the present cut-off is at 15 mph, it will become roughly 14 mph. The way to increase that is with slightly higher battery voltage, but standard batteries don't come in slightly increased voltages of course.

Can i just use the 700c wheel in place of a 26" mtb wheel,i know the brake would need to be changed

If the frame has the clearance for its larger diameter, yes, that would cause no problems.
